Also I have a great computer, but i would never buy a game for my computer because the last thing I want to do is to touch a mouse and a keyboard in front of a computer screen since I work all the day with that kind of tools... i think there is a kind of public that PC would never cover for that reason. I prefer being in my bed or in a couch playing from 3M in front of my Tv instead of being close to a screen or a keyboard damaging my eyes. Also, I find more fun games in a console.
I own a ps3 but after seeing some videos I can say that Uncharted 2 has nothing to do with Crysis in terms of graphics (yeah, Uncharted has great graphics, but the other is better being objective). But, who cares??? the main thing in games is playability, thats why they are called GAMES and not animations or other stuff.

@narutodbzSS18 Yeah PS3's has more cores then the Xbox 360. But the FPS is pretty laggy. Which is why Xbox has more Polygons. At 2008 Xbox wins at graphics because PS3 never reached full potential. At 2009, Uncharted 2 was released and its one of the best looking games exept for Crysis. I'm guessing the 360 will do the same this year with Crysis 2.

One of the best looking games to date. Especially Reach. Multiplayer and online on the 360 is one of the best. When I owned CoD WaW on the PS3 before. I barely found anyone online. So I switched to the Xbox 360 and the people that are online is pretty high there.

Look at uncharted 2's foliage, arguably the worst I've seen this gen. 2.) Way too much animation clipping. 3.) It is rendered in 720p, and has 3x AA. Nothing special. Look at crysis, high res foliage, lots of next gen tech, and overall better in everything. Except anims, but that is because crytek were lazy on them

Also I have a great computer, but i would never buy a game for my computer because the last thing I want to do is to touch a mouse and a keyboard in front of a computer screen since I work all the day with that kind of tools... i think there is a kind of public that PC would never cover for that reason. I prefer being in my bed or in a couch playing from 3M in front of my Tv instead of being close to a screen or a keyboard damaging my eyes. Also, I find more fun games in a console.

I own a ps3 but after seeing some videos I can say that Uncharted 2 has nothing to do with Crysis in terms of graphics (yeah, Uncharted has great graphics, but the other is better being objective). But, who cares??? the main thing in games is playability, thats why they are called GAMES and not animations or other stuff.

Xbox is easier to develop for, PS3 is more powerful. Simple.
that's why multiplatform games look better on xbox 360 most of the time, while exclusives (made by a good developer) can look better on PS3.
Also don't bring up that "the xbox is reaching it's limits" bullshit, people said that years ago with gears of war, and it means nothing. Anyone can create a game that 'pushes a console to it's limit' but looks like shit... art style and graphical optimizations are what separates games visually.

@narutodbzSS18 Yeah PS3's has more cores then the Xbox 360. But the FPS is pretty laggy. Which is why Xbox has more Polygons. At 2008 Xbox wins at graphics because PS3 never reached full potential. At 2009, Uncharted 2 was released and its one of the best looking games exept for Crysis. I'm guessing the 360 will do the same this year with Crysis 2.

One of the best looking games to date. Especially Reach. Multiplayer and online on the 360 is one of the best. When I owned CoD WaW on the PS3 before. I barely found anyone online. So I switched to the Xbox 360 and the people that are online is pretty high there.

@UnitedPlayahz its running on a better gpu on the xbox, it makes xbox multiplatforms look better on. it not that ps3 looks better due to blu ray, its due to its powerful cell processor. the blu ray isnt for graphics just more memory storage for more textures, physics engines etc. thats why final fantasy 13 on the ps3 only had one disk compared to the multiple disks on the xbox.

@Wilsonboy0528 Ummm...Thats what I'm saying...Wii's are mostly towards kids and adults. Wii has more sales then the Xbox & PS3 combined so it is doing good even though the graphics are not new gen. I'm still enjoying the Wii because it's fun. Even you admit, Sony copied Nintendo idea to their own system of motion gaming. (Exp: PS3 Move, Kinect).

I'm still rocking the Gamecube because of Resident Evil 4 and Super Mario Sunshine ( I know Wii has the capability to play GC games but I owned it before I got the Wii) And I also enjoy PS2 games like Twisted Metal Black & Metal Gear Solid 2. So no, Theres no moving on. Just because they don't make games for them no more and they're last gen doesn't mean to move on.

@whitefuckyou Wrong. Crysis 2 is coming to PS3. That's only possible because CryEngine 3, the upcoming engine from Crytek, has a lightweight setting to be used on the consoles alongside the more advanced ones for PC. CryEngine 2, on the other hand, would run horribly on the PS3.

@HULKMANEC No, Uncharted looks good I won't deny. However it is far from the best looking game ever. To be honest, crysis is. I know I may sound like a fanboy, however it is true. 1.) Look at uncharted 2's foliage, arguably the worst I've seen this gen. 2.) Way too much animation clipping. 3.) It is rendered in 720p, and has 3x AA. Nothing special. Look at crysis, high res foliage, lots of next gen tech, and overall better in everything. Except anims, but that is because crytek were lazy on them

@1986wumpscut stop to compare the pc with the ps3 - 1. This game looks a lot better than a fuckin average pc game - i can tell you 2. And this console gets 5 years old and the next game from Naughty Dog Uncharted 3 will look even better than this. And dont think you can play such a game in HD with your 5 year old pc. The PC hardware is just powerful because of the hardware updates you make and because of the experience of the game developers have. For a console who costs about 300$ BEST!

mirros edge doesnt really stand out ive seen it. metro2033 is better. the only real diffrence is that mirros edge supports phys from nvidia not mutch else.
but then agian crysis has realistic physics and lightning.
and curby jarn won e3 becuase its betetr at artistic. and while its graphics are simple.
the engine in crysis is better thats a fact.

DDR3 is faster now, but compared to it's initial launch XDR was the fastest available literally double the speed of the initial DDR3 sticks. DDR3 is now faster.
