i bought his "journals" cuz i wanted to read his notes, what was he thinking etc... i didn't like that, there was more his private letters than his notes. i prefer listen to his notes than reading them ;) and i'm not going to buy this book

i dont think kurt would really be pissed if people read his diary. i mean he used just leave pages of his journals lying around in his apartment or house for anyone and everyone to see.

as intriguing as it seems, it seems like an invasion of someone's privacy. I don't think Kurt would ever let that stuff get out if he was still alive, and I can't believe Courtney would let let that stuff get out just to make a buck. I respect Charles Cross as an author but come on.

its not a book, its HIS journals...you know you wouldnt want anyone reading your journals probably. Most people wouldnt..period. Its not obsessive, its having respect for other peoples property, wich is not yours. I got it for christmas also and i didnt put it down until i had read all of it. The full book really gives you a great insight into kurts art and his views on things. I would strongly recommend it!!

She can make money and this narrator can continue being an ass worthy of helping put out what can more than reasonably be assumed that kurt would have never released. unless you have such a hard on you cant realize it.I wouldn't want my diaries in a book on the shelves of major bookstores. This has nothing to do with his intended affiliation with the public,It's to serve disrespectful animals with dollar bills that promote what an artist isn't about. same i got it for more birthday and its good. i dont like the last 4 pages cause they make it look like kurt went crazy. then again anything that has courtneys aprovel is going to make kurt look crazy. i dont like how they said he wanted to quit nirvana and said nirvana was an embrassment. but he was high when he wrote it, the books pretty good and im happy with it.
