Yes! now I can blend in with the rest of the assholes as Starbucks with my lit up Apple logo next to my Tall Caramel Latte. I hope they don't make fun of me for having the old model.
i want to buy one from ebay but theres no charger i need to pay 15 more bucks to buy a charger and also there is no software on it only OS 10.4 Tiger is it worth it?
@Hilsong3 yes! mine came pre loaded with Microsoft Office 08, iLife 09, Albleton Live and Photoshop. it also came with some extra software and stuff that i wasn't expecting! it has 1.33 GhZ 512 RAM 30GB Harddrive and it runs OS X Leopard (10.5.8). all this for £200! excellent physical and perfect working condition. a MacBook is £850 and only comes preloaded with iLife. it has a more powerful processor, etc. but for £200 the iBook is obviously the better choice if you're on a budget!
@Hilsong3 in conclusion, yes, the iBook you are describing obviously is a smart decision. Tiger's fast as hell! and if you want to upgrade Leopard's got the boom! and as for the extra cash for the charger, it's only $15, friggin pennies compared to the laptop you are going to buy. so get the iBook and have a good time on it. experiment with it, and if you like it, get a MacBook when you can.
YEa, this was my first real experience with a Mac. I gave this notebook to my mother, and just recently, I bought myself a 15" Powerbook, which I'll be unboxing soon.
Don't listen to him, you got a pretty good deal. I personally loved the older 12" IBooks and Powerbooks, I own a 12" PB, its great! Hope you enjoy yours!

um im gono get one but it says disks not included do u need disks to use it
tallyhoman911 2 years ago
Nope. You would only need/want the disks if you are going to completely restore the laptop to its default settings.

thank you

Sadly, no. They didn't start putting iSight into laptops until they introduced the Intel Macbooks and MacBook Pro's
