I can't use the Walmart waxes because they're poisonous to my animals. I know that Scentsy doesn't use carcinogens or toxins. I wouldn't trust Walmart for that.

Why take a blow dryer to get the Wax out? Sounds like a lot of work. With Scentsy, you just pop the cooled wax right out! You get what you pay for :-)
I have tried a Walmart warmer. There is absolutely no comparission whatsoever to Scentsy. The Scentsy wax lasts at least three times as long, has no harsh chemicals in in, and the smell spreads through your house ten times faster than the Walmart brand. That is too hard to clean out the wax, Scentsy is very simple all that mess you have would not be the case with Scentsy. Also, a section of the scentsy bar is often too strong, breaking into 1/4 makes your house smell nice and won't be over powering. If you have to use a whole section to get the same results, I am not sure you are saving money.

if you have to use a hairdryer to clean up the mess and look at what it did to your table... scentsy come right off with one wipe. its not wax like these cheap knockoffs, its a paraphin wax like you would go to a spa and have done. its good for you home as well as yourself. and not to mention its not toxic. its like a tattoo. you get what you pay for.

@4tsimmons staind your ground lady!!!!! I use all kinds,, the candle crate, scentsys, and both kinds at walmarts... A big + is at walmart u can smell them... and as long as you keep in mind that what u smell is what it will smell like once its burned...
@alive4red Why would you need a high quality paraffin wax just to scent your house? It's not like you're dipping your fingers in the wax melts! Paraffin wax dips for your hands/feet are still messy as heck anyway. The Walmart Better Homes tarts are SUPER high quality for the price of $2, and they would be a good value at 4 or 5 dollars a pack too. One cube scents the whole house and is reusable.

You get what you pay for. I tried the walmart stuff & it does not hold a candle to the power of Scentsy. The wax does not come out of the warmer as easy & you can't really smell it. You don't have to use a blow dyer to clean up your mess. Scentsy wax will come out with by using credit card in one nice piece (the table too). Also, Scentsy is so powerful that you don't even need to use a whole cube. In my 1100 square foot house I only use 1/4th to 1/2 of a cube and it fills the whole bottom floor.
@smellsheavenly I am also a Scentsy consultant but I have to say that I have never been able to fill 1100 sf, especially if there are walls between the room) with even one cube. What scent are you using? I agree that Scentsy products smell more realistic (less "chemically") and last longer. I also love that the Scentsy warmer has a lifetime guarantee! YAY!
@mrsmarycandice I have an open floor plan... with 9 ft ceilings. I typicially use Stronger Scents... My FAVS are Ocean, Beach(nla), Paradice Punch, Christmas Cottage, camu camu, Kahika Hula, just to name a few. the only scent I have to use a whole cube of so far is Enchanted Mist b/c it is a lighter fragrance... and I like it STRONG! :) If you have valted ceilings then you may have to use more. If you have ceiling fans, it helps circulate the air. that may help you bunches.

I think you get what you pay for. Please keep in mind if you put those walmart waxes in a scentsy warmer, it will eat way the finish!
It doesnt last that long. I could go on. Of course if you like those that is fine. But I for one will stay a Scenty Customer!

Paraffin wax dips for your hands/feet are still messy as heck anyway.
