I think these VIETNAMESE people in this video are stupid. First, you should be smart enough to obey the laws and listen to the Officers. Then after you have listened, let the do your job FIRST then you can ASK questions. "What did he do, why you're handcuffing him?" They are doing that for a REASON. Maybe he shouldn't have hit his mom like the girl was saying "Tai vi may danh me may" DuHHHHHHHH....That dude realllly reallllly deserves to be arrested and put in jail for months...

as a Houston Police officer, how many weapons can you carry? Is there a limit? And what kind are they. I see a lot of cops have like Shotguns and a .45 or a .9mm...some have tazers and peppersprays...This question is for HPD only ...Thanks

how are tasers against human rights? and how are they torture? if you don't listen to a cop while they are about ready to or in the process of arresting you, you are probably going to get tasered. In both cases here, the cops gave ample time for the suspect to comply. If you don't want to get tasered, listen. For the torture part of you statement, it lasts for five seconds. It makes your body go numb, and then as soon as it is over, you can feel again. Its long enough to get you on the ground.

The way Tasers were promoted was that they would only be used instead of shooting someone. This country is turning into a police state at an alarming rate! At the rate government grows, we lose Liberty and money.

Freedom means being Free to live in any manner you choose; so long as, you do not hurt others. Most people locked up in the US were not convicted of hurting someone else. Hurting your feelings isn't a crime.

Wrong...Tasers are and have always been promoted as a tool to gain compliance from non-compliant individuals, reduce serious injuries to officers and suspects, and as another step before deadly force. More Tasers for everyone! I have my Taser c2 and I bought it at academy. Its about time they come out with something that allows good hard working citizens to stop a crack crazed attacker without having to shoot them. The reason why the guy was able to run is because there was insufficent probe spread. The taser barbs have to spread 4 inch or more to fully work.

The reason why we use tasers is because this generation has forgoton what police officers use to do. Back in the day you would get your ass beat by a baton and would be brused for weaks. Its pretty simple get on the ground and you wont get taserd. This guy was told to get on the ground and he did not do it so the outcome is you get tasered.

Dont know about you but I would rather have a cop Taser me instead of shooting me or beating me with a baton so I have no problems with police and Tasers. People need to get over it. 12,000 + police departments use them in over 44 countries and over 200,000 citizens own them. Tasers are here to stay.

The video is taken from a taser camera. It is mounted under the handle. Some agencies use them for proof that the Tase was justified. Others dont because they break ofton.

I work for HPD the camera is actually built in to the taser that is why its shaky. The video was taken straight from officers so there is no way that it could be doctored before shown.
