I think my favorite thing was how you used such a great variety of scenes. I know when I'm using combat footage I tend to get stuck in a rut and use the same scenes over and over again (like White Light, b/c I LOVE that fight scene) but I loved the variety in this, especially the little Kim scene. INCREDIBLE job!
@loveGG2 Thank you so much! I'm proud of the intro. I was practically bragging about it to BLS. THing is it wasn't until I was looking in the Island of Illusion and Trick or Treat eps that the idea hit me. I know what you mean about the fight scenes. I so wanted to use the white light scene, because everyone kicked butt in that scene. I would've like to have gotten all her scenes in, but alas no. I bragged about little Kim's scene so much I said, let me use it. It just happened to go w/the song!
@slickricklj I really like alot of her fight scenes b/c she doesn't just use brute force to kick the putties butts (pun intended, lol) she actually uses her head and outsmarts them sometimes, too. I did like the audio bits of the intro but I also meant the parts like with Tommy taking the picture and then the 4 screen shots. Super cool!
@loveGG2 That's why I liked her. She would always change her game up. She'd take advantage of her environment when necessary and dodge attacks like a pro.
Glad you enjoyed it. I wasn't sure if people understood that the DJ represented me (he points to the "A SlickRickLJ Production) then points to her and she's like OMG! She was chosen to be the star of the video. I wanted to use those multi screen shots and the Tommy with the camera was just too perfect not to use with the intros from s2/3.
Totally! The whole thing with the intro was just awesome! It's so different from anything else out there. I totally love it! It's 100% unique and perfect for Kim!
