In order for that, you need a good director, writer, cast and production team.

Unfortunately they are hard to come by nowadays.

Hopefully if ever a film, it would be in many parts, each part depicting each level, running at 2 hours or more each. Also, it would have to use old-school visual effects in order to appeal.

congrats! this is one of the hardest SNES games out there. mostly because you have to go through the stages twice to beat the game, or just the last stage twice if you use a code.
