What the heck did you do to the gears?? I had the standard Racing-Modified Impreza and the Special Model and both wouldn't go past something like 160mph. Same prob with that R32 or R34 (can't remember) from Nissan which had the best HP in the game yet was blocked by the gear ratio I think.

@Yazoku It's Gran Turismo 1, not 2; there wasn't a Subaru Pleo, and there were some cars that had 7 gears in GT1, for example: Mitsubishi GTO LM, Dodge Viper GTS-R, Castrol Supra JGTC, you can tune some cars to have 7 gears (buy Semi-Racing transmission), e.g. Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo, Honda NSX (the newer one, not the used one), Chevrolet Corvette (but not Stingray)
