Nice work man, but I've never really understood the whole rat rod thing. In my opinion it'd be much better if the exact same mods were made but instead of keeping it looking old and rusted, restore everything and give it a nice paint job.

Guitarman is upset because he went over budget on clear coat. The shops fault probably since he doesn't even know how to build Legos.
Guitarman,The thing about hotrods is,build them the way you like them.If you want one with steel wheels,cool,build it.Just do not knock another mans creation because it is not your style.I like the billets, and believe it or not,they are catching on with ratrodders.I personally like the car and wheels.If it was mine I would give it a nice shiney paint job,but its not mine,so it`s cool just the way it is.
Respect other peoples right to their opinions and tastes.

I didn't buy mine built or out of a catalog its all real, and I sure as hell am not a follower. Since when has there ever been rules to follow in building cars? @tdreed I have to agree with your point of view. Im also not a fan of some of the decisions made in your design but I can appreciate the work you put to make that happen. I wish i had your skills. Very nice work
@guitarman59ford a rat rod doesnt use original parts do some research pal a rat rod is what you take of a rusted bucket and turn it into gold with out spending tons of money
Try and make it to ducktail run in indiana in a few weeks! We will be camping there and partyin all weekend there its a huge rat rod show! Bring a tint.. You will not be disappointed in this show! see ya its in gas city indiana by the way,
