@v8priide84 Its done in reverse, then just crank the wheel, then straighten out about 3/4ths slide, and before you are done sliding drop it in 1st and give it gas.

@Mrwillers82 I agree, it wasn't bad, and I was somewhat impressed by the fact that you remained pretty much in the same track for the first reverse 180...there aren't many non-professionals who can do that...but otherwise, your reverse 180's are a bit sloppy...and you really should be coning off the road when you do that...

@airman355 no, just fined....some cops will impound your car, I've only been busted doing it twice (both times I had no idea the cops were trying to follow me, I stopped in front of my bank, got out and walked in to the atm...while I was in there the cop skidded to a stop and waited for me to come out, both times, exact same thing), both times I just got a fine, one of those times I disputed it, and managed to get the ticket thrown out. But then...I'm in Canada, cops might be stricter in the US

Only if you drop the throttle too quickly. It will put undue stress on the drive shaft. But the same would happen if you did that in first gear. The Diff is having an easy time when you're in reverse because you likely cannot go over 40mph. And the transmission is having an easy time because they are straight cut gears, pretty damn strong.

I've only made that work twice... don't like doing it as much though do to the higher risk of getting hit since it's easy to mess up. the Reverse 180 though is fun easy to learn and for the most part it's safe. props to this drive for is skill :-)
