@pamelahicks Also, can it even be demonstrated that collecting or manufacturing the chemicals which react in the shells to produce heat is more efficient than using a crock-pot to heat wet rocks? This seems like suggesting that using batteries is more "eco friendly" because you don't have to plug something in. That energy had to come from _somewhere_.
@BakerMikeRomeo That's another good point. I hate when terms like "eco-friendly" or "natural" are thrown around by laypersons with no real concept of what sustainable or organic products actually are.
