WHERE I COULD GET FREE RED DEAD REVOLVER SOUNDTRACKS, WHOEVER TELLS ME HOW AND IF IT WORKS I'LL SUBSCRIBE TO HIM, PRAY HIM THANK HIM (OR HER) :S ;) :) XD
I think Redemption was an interesting successor to revolver.
Revolver was obviously a homage to really old Spaghetti Westerns (intro with all the characters, Morricone-style music at all times, corny voice acting).
Redemption is like one of the newer, more serious westerns we've been seeing, like the True Grit remake and 3:10 to Yuma: dark, somewhat depressing, and very, very serious, with as little non-deadpan humor as possible.
It's like a commentary on both film styles in general almost.
they should remake revolver and make it more realistic like Red Dead Redemption, i meen yes this game was just as awsome but the strang voices and the unreal badguys kind of ruined some parts of the game like proffesor perry or what ever his name, no man can teleport, and the midget clones to
@LuigiMan270 i was thinking that..remake Revolver with the same engine as Redemption, AND give it a freeroam, player 1 is red but in nextgen graphics, its a winner
@LuigiMan270 The hell is wrong with you? Elements like this made the game memorable and hilarious at the same time why on earth would you want to remake the game WITHOUT them? Honestly if you didn't account for Pig Josh's ability to blow himself up and survive it and passed it off as being "realistic" you sir are sorely mistaken. Don't ruin the nostalgia for me or anyone else and shoo.
they probly used characters from the spaghetti westerns mate cuz if you think about it red looks like clint eastwood, jack swift looks like the bad e.t.c.. such a genius idea :)
@SNIPERHAWK8 true red dead was just a copy of the films made in to a game it was so long over due it was untrue. surge i thught every one did that was the point . i never new that the music was not compose for the game till to day tho i think the music made it! gun good red dead great!
Imagine if this game had actually been produced by Capcom.
Oh lordy.
Rockstar, you really save our asses on that one.
Though that's not to say Capcom isn't an incredible, almost infallible developer. It's just that this sort of game fits so damn perfectly into Rockstar's style.
Just hope Red Dead Redemption isn't too serious business because Revolver definitely had a lot of subtle humour and playfulness to it with the crazy bad guys like "Billy the Kid" who was actually a kid.
@mratomic7 Well, I got to say, I do think this game would be as awesome as it is if was made by CAPCOM, bac in that days CAPCOM was awesome (lately it have been disapointing me...)
As for the Red Dead Remption, it's long time out now; and as we could see it doesn't have this subtle humor from RD Revolver... but let's face it. It's simply epic awesome!
@x8zero Well, I wouldn't trust Capcom anymore - after they announced the new "DmC". What they did to Dante (turn him into an emo/hardcore kid) is fugly.
This new wave of reboot from classic games sucks....
First Konami let that MercurySeam create this new castlevania game, it's not all bad, but completely lost the series idendity; now CAPCOM let Ninja theory produce this Emo may Cry game.... ¬¬
I hope they all go back to the old school soon enough...
@mratomic7 I agree. Though, Capcom had wanted it to be a Western Zombie game, and that would've been fucking awesome, but Red Dead Revolver is my favorite game, and that's coming from a guy who's played nearly every game from consoles and PC's in the years 1985-1998.
i played red dead redemption and undead nightmare but not red dead revolver. Was it good?

Red Dead Redemption is alot more serious than Revolver... and it makes it well known that it points out the flaws in humanity
