i bought this ddr pad at ddrfitness. com for 250 with a handle bar really freaking nice pad, had it for 3 years cuz i had to sell it since i was moving but later on i checked the same site and it was gone idk what happened to it, but it was an awesome metal dance pad, and now i check at the prices and they range up even the cheap ones like alot of money i dont know where to find cheap dance pads like 250 price area like the last one i had

@SlickDX536 Ya, my split AUX cable went bad so I had to buy a new one. I did not know at the time this was happening until someone pointed it out to me. I had really bad computer speakers back then so it was impossible for me to tell.

Yes, soft or foam pads, SUCK!, I recommend the Cobalt Flux metal dance pad, @ Cobalt Flux.com, very good, but expensive. ( Around 300$ bucks.), also it has no bar so, if you are a player who uses the bar, I don't recommend, this pad. If you are looking for a cheap, but decent metal pad, buy a RedOctane Afterburner, dance pad! These pads are much, much better than that piece of crap, soft pad! A metal pad won't move at all!

@IAMEVAN4LIFE1 The foam pads, though, can hold basically any weight, while the metal pads are made for older (Teen-Adult) people, and when I was 9, I remember trying to get the pad to respond to my 62-pound body, which didn't work very well. And the soft pads' sensors break easier than the foam pads for some reason o_0

@princessmarrissa Actually it really depends. Most likely the arcade game will only be able to feel you at around ~20 lbs. of force on each arrow. But that also depends on how worn the sensors are, and where you are stepping.

@xkonsentox Yeah, the problem is the one I was on was somewhere in Phoenix, in this MAJOR arcade place, and I had to STOMP LIKE HECK.

It was really annoying, and It still didn't register sometimes, but thankfully the other one worked better.

Damn, I can only play this song on standard, lol. Does it make a huge difference getting a metal pad compared to the soft one? It seems the soft one that I have has been used so much that it doesn't register you hitting the arrow anymore.
