  • dont go strait at it go at i like horizontial with the rail

  • lol l learned grind in my first day wearing the aggresive boots but l didnt learn on a metal opject l learned on the side things off the street Comment : guys dont do it it ruine your skates lol

  • @ LAXteam, no don't take your wheels out, they only reason you would take your 2 middle wheels out is if you had anti-rockers, it would give you more room on your h-block, other wise its best to leave the wheels in

  • haha cool cool , i remember the first i tryed a rail i fell flat on my ass.

NOTE : never put one foot after the other ull kill yourself do like the guy in the video.

    nice

  • try not to touch the wall try to slide intead stepping on abd slding ur back foot and try jumping

  • yeah u want frames with 2 wheels because its much easier to grind also u want heavy skates to start with because it helps u keep balance if u dont want to spend alot of money on ur first skates try a pair of old model trs's or anarchy chaos.

also what ur doing there is good but the wall thing doesnt help u gain balance at all.

  • yea u do....thats what i had to do to my inlines....if u dont take them out then ul grind like crap, and will only be able to grind like 1-2 feet....

  • do i have to take the 2 middle wheels out to grind with a pair of Razors Genesys 7's

  • no you don't, you can still grind most round rails, except you will only be able to grind thin square rails

  • no, u never have to unless u have freestle frames, which wont even let u put 2 middle wheels in

  • you never have to take off any wheels to grind but some people prefer to do it because its makes grinding easyer

  • it is easier to grind if you do

  • it doesnt matter if you take them out of your fram i use typ-m frames of kizer but you can look for grind wheels and switch them with the middle wheels

  • hummm, i dunno when i got my blades there were only 2 wheels, and it slides very well, you should take em off.

  • yo got 1 question i just purchased my first pair of aggressive skates called Razors Genesys 7 i think the adjustable pair and my mom wont let me take the 2 wheels out from inside the middle can i still grind and will it be really hard or easier with the wheels?

Thanks, A 12 year old skater

  • It all depends like i used to grind with the wheels in the middle on there but its easier if you buy anti rocker wheels or just take them out its up to you. i like having them all in there for grip on wood

  • its harder with the 2 mid wheels in their. take them out

  • When i hit the rail, should i try to keep my balance on top of it or on the side?

  • uhh i used to on top of the rail but its easyier to lean forward with your skates to the side like a royal

  • if you keep your balance on top, you will gribnd farther but it is riskier

  • If you have a pair of aggressive skates it should only take about 2-3 hours max for me it only took about 10 minutes but aggressive skates are the ones you wana be grinding with i you dont have aggressive skates it will be almost impossible

  • those are aggressive skates..

  • lol ur retarded those are aggressive skates. keep up the work my suggetion is not to step onto the rail, instead jump with both feet onto the rail

  • my brother did it with inline skates like hockey ones he just took the middle wheel out

  • when i was learning to royal grind (i still am) i put the rial some where so i could not hold on to anything like you are that wall i help a lot

  • yeah the only reason it was inside is because it was winter and there was a lot of snow on the ground

  • that was kinda dum i wanna learn not watch but keep trying ull get soon enough man dont give up ok

  • 1: find a rail/curb/bench/anything u think is grindable

2: go at it straight, pratice doing 50-50 stalls, or what ever grind u are going to do

3: make sure it is waxed up, alot of wax is bad for beginners in my opion(bad experience XP)

4: go at it at a angle and jump, make sure u got balance

5: tear it up and let me know if it helped :D

  • dude wen u jump to grind something throw ur body over wat u gonna grind so that ur leaning over its scary but it lets u grond longer and

first try it stll be fore u put in movement u'll get and dont hold on to the wall

  • practice jumping on the rail first, faceing tword the rail and inline with the rail.

once you get your balance and footing down, just lean forward when you grind and thats basicaly all

    practice on grass first.

it took me like 2 min to learn how to grind

  • jus shootin rubber bullets here...........

how r u ment to get enough speed on grass to grind properly

  • dude y u holding the wall

  • dude cuz the rail is so close to the wall

  • bend ur ankles back

GO STAIGHT TOAWRDS THE RAIL, NOT AT AN ANGLE

and lean ur body forward, it might feel like ur gonna fall forawrd, but trust me you dont wanna lean back to far...

took me about 2-3 hours to learn to grind

  • can someone explain the steps to grind?

  • how long did it take you guys who skate to grind?

  • dude,if u want to grind perfectly,u'll hav to stall it first, then u try to grind while moving.thats my advice. ;)

  • dont depend so much on the wall. put the rail in the grass, this is good so that the rail doesnt slip and if u fall its cushined a bit. keep practicing and push urself to do different grinds.

  • there is a crap load of snow outside thats why its in my basement

  • Make The Rail About 2 Foot High

That Is Good To Start On

    Will

  • if u want good ones anywhere from 150$ to 300$

  • mine are good they where on sale for 100 but original is 160...

  • wear your skates mad tight when your skatin

  • ...why

  • who skates tight? you cant get any flex in grinds or anything.....Skate loose but since your starting out dont skate super loose just loose enough where you feel you can put flex to your grinds

  • How much does a pair of Aggressive inline skates cost eh?

  • 200 - 350
