  • As a bodybuilder turned triathlete, I can tell you that typical hypertrophy range is 3-4 sets of 8-12 reps. Strength training is generally 1-5 reps with 3-5 sets. Endurance training is usually geared at 3 sets of 12-20 reps.

  • hey thanks for the thoughts. I am in my first month of training for a triathlon and I want to run the Coeur d'Alene Ironman in 2012. I am a bit heavy for endurance at the time but I am quickly getting back into the shape i was in while I was in the USMC Infantry. I figure a year of training is what i need. I will keep watching your videos and just wanted to say thanks for posting these videos.

  • hey, if i had to give you some advice to get more views for your videos, try uploading them as video responses to big triathlon videos on youtube especially videos from itutriathlon and ironmantriathlon. That rekes in alot more views from people who are interested in these things.
