i have it for xbox and it has the best graphics ever it looks really good and the cgi looks incredible who cares about the 3 disc u only swap disc two times and its not a big deal its like getting up to change a game its not like we have to swap 50 times also this game took me three weeks to finish first game that i played that took me so long to beat :)
Every Final Fantasy that preceded Final Fantasy X is pretty much Final Fantasy in name only. The original creator doesn't even work for Square-Enix anymore, and the newer FF games are made by different people than those who originally made the series great.

When I saw this I felt worried they were going to completely drop support for the PS3 after FF13/ versus and just go with the 360. @CinemaGaming The only 360 exclusives have been The Last Remnant - a game that they were unable to put on the PS3 due to the Unreal engine lacks of compatibility. Then there was Infinite Undiscovery - a game that was paid for (the development anyway) by Microsoft...and that's it - not sure what you're complaining about.
@dontcomm Star Ocean IV was an exclusive at the time but they may have had plans to bring it to the PS3 later back then because he never referred to it as an exclusive at this conference. The PS3 went three whole years without seeing a single game from Square, that's what I'm complaining about. They never even put their foot in the water to see how profitable the PS3 even was, but now things are fine, so it seems kind of trivial to even discuss this matter.

Well to begin, God of War 1 & 2 are not exclusive. They are for the PS2 too.
As for Xbox360 FFXIII, you realize there is a possibility of INSTALLING the game to the 360's harddrive. Simply install the game using each disc. In a matter of 15 overall minutes, you can simply play Final Fantasy XIII by using 1 disc!!

That's great and all but if you are comparing the battle gameplay from E3 06 to the final version, they toned it down in the final version considerably because of the decision to go multiplat. There might be other factors involved so this is strictly my own opinion. Can you imagine how cool it'd be if they keep the original concept of the battle mechanics? Hopefully they will recycle it for future installments.

And installation will probably be optional (this means 20 gig owners won't be able to play it, and then 20 gig owners wouldn't buy ff13, and microsoft wouldn't be happy).

god of war 3 is probably gonna be great, but can we be sure? sure, GoW 1&2 were awesome, but GoW 3 is gonna be for PS3. if it's gonna be like ratchet&clank, it won't be anywhere near the level it was on the ps2.

more ps3 copies will probably be sold regardless of how the games going to look. only because the playstation company had more time to work on it the xbox had less time, but the main reason is because most final fantasy players have a ps3.

both the 360 and ps3 versions have 720p game play res, with ps3 looking just a little better, it's really not a big deal which version to get imo, graphics didn't stop the Wii from selling.

After some quick analysis, it was discovered that they were in fact screen grabs from a low resolution video running on Windows.Newer screens show the Xbox 360 version running at full 720p resolution and proper color quality.

@TheCrayonMan529 That's not really how the Cell works on the PS3, the Cell was originally designed to be a flexible, programmable display unit on top of being a main processor and Sony was originally going to have 2 Cells in the PS3 instead of the Cell+RSX that we all see today but it wasn't very dev friendly considering it was new tech so it turned out the way it did. It turns out that devs who are able to use the SPUs correctly can have very high quality post processing effects aka Uncharted 2

They can be just as bias as a fanboy, the game was made originally for ps3, they finished the ps3 version and ported it over to the 360, its compressed and made to fit on 3 discs which barely is enough room, meaning they had to downgrade some of the features the ps3 had no problem handling. LBP is an amazing game, ironically it's more mature than Halo. That game is so bland that the "characters" need colourful space suits to differentiate themselves from the other characters, could a game be any more shallow?

And my criticisms to Halo are true, the game is shallow as fuck, the gameplay is simplistic, and the graphics seem like a whole generation behind. The colourful suits are used to differentiate the characters, because the game is so fucking shallow you couldn't tell them apart.
And you are right, almost every shooter is awful, but a lot of them aren't the same. Resistance and Killzone are the same old shit, but Call of Duty is very good.

Then there was Infinite Undiscovery - a game that was paid for (the development anyway) by Microsoft...and that's it - not sure what you're complaining about.

The PS3 went three whole years without seeing a single game from Square, that's what I'm complaining about. They never even put their foot in the water to see how profitable the PS3 even was, but now things are fine, so it seems kind of trivial to even discuss this matter.

Well to begin, God of War 1 & 2 are not exclusive. They are for the PS2 too.
As for Xbox360 FFXIII, you realize there is a possibility of INSTALLING the game to the 360's harddrive. Simply install the game using each disc. In a matter of 15 overall minutes, you can simply play Final Fantasy XIII by using 1 disc!!

That's great and all but if you are comparing the battle gameplay from E3 06 to the final version, they toned it down in the final version considerably because of the decision to go multiplat. There might be other factors involved so this is strictly my own opinion. Can you imagine how cool it'd be if they keep the original concept of the battle mechanics? Xbox 360 version: 3 discs, 18.3 gigs installation (possibly optiona), 576p resolution
PS3 version: 1 disc, installation unknown, 720p resolution (1080p for cutscenes).
But seriously, there is nothing wrong with multiple discs (unless we are lazy).
And installation will probably be optional (this means 20 gig owners won't be able to play it, and then 20 gig owners wouldn't buy ff13, and microsoft wouldn't be happy).
And it's about gameplay, not graphics (although ff13 looks amazing)

more ps3 copies will probably be sold regardless of how the games going to look. only because the playstation company had more time to work on it the xbox had less time, but the main reason is because most final fantasy players have a ps3.

@clonetrooperX1345 Your statement about "more final fantasy players have a ps3" has so little merit that I'm not even going to go into it. I had a PS1 and PS2, but decided I'd prefer a more game-orientated system this generation and got a 360. And I love Final Fantasy.
But you're right. It will sell better on PS3 just because Japan doesn't have a 360 version.

Well i don't really care about this Final Fantasy the one i can't wait is Vesus XIII that is made by the best FF teams and it will be pure epicness!!!and it will be exclusive on PS3.

both the 360 and ps3 versions have 720p game play res, with ps3 looking just a little better, it's really not a big deal which version to get imo, graphics didn't stop the Wii from selling.

@animecool999 unfortunately, these new screens were yet another mistake, as they were taken from a low quality feed, indicating a 576p resolution and washed out colors. After some quick analysis, it was discovered that they were in fact screen grabs from a low resolution video running on Windows.Newer screens show the Xbox 360 version running at full 720p resolution and proper color quality.

@Ajscw i got proof to, gamespot, the xbox has a better gpu, graphics processing unit, so it can have better visuals. dont say anything about the cell, cause a cpu has nothing to do with graphics.

@TheCrayonMan529 That's not really how the Cell works on the PS3, the Cell was originally designed to be a flexible, programmable display unit on top of being a main processor and Sony was originally going to have 2 Cells in the PS3 instead of the Cell+RSX that we all see today but it wasn't very dev friendly considering it was new tech so it turned out the way it did. It turns out that devs who are able to use the SPUs correctly can have very high quality post processing effects aka Uncharted 2

Dude Gamespot is a fanbase just as well, you think anything they say is law? They can be just as bias as a fanboy, the game was made originally for ps3, they finished the ps3 version and ported it over to the 360, its compressed and made to fit on 3 discs which barely is enough room, meaning they had to downgrade some of the features the ps3 had no problem handling. I have a feeling you're around 12-13?

@Ajscw i rather trust a legit website who has played the game and compared the 2 versions, then a kid who has no clue who is pulling facts from Wikipedia. U probably think the cell processer is better then a intel i7 core or even a quad core. face it the ps3 is lost, so just give up and get a gaming pc or a xbox 360, cause only true gamers get a good product. also im not 12, im twree years owld.
