I despise the turner prize and all associated and yet somehow the stuckists still come off as pompous and irrelevant. I have seen some of the pieces from self professed stuckists and all seem trite and hackneyed. It's a shame that the loudest critic's of the new british artist movements are such banal bores

Not modern art, just conceptual art. There's a lot of work the Tate should be buying by contemporary painters. There's no need for the Tate to divert money from shit to buy Stuckist work: it was offered as a donation. It's an established part of the current art scene, and the Tate has not one example.
