I loved this album! It was a different, but a better sound. It's funny because people slag the shit outta this album. Looking back when Abby Road first came out the INTIAL reviews were, negative, "left over songs...." "declining......." etc, now we look back and Its a Iconic album. Not that I'm saying Heathen Chemistry will be viewed as Iconic, but the songs, are certainly memorable, and well worth a good listen.

I think Heathen chemistry is their best album next to Morning Glory and it's probably the most important after DM cuz Noel wrote every track on the previous 4 so going in to record HC was a big step for the band and the songs on there are genius; little by little, hindu times, songbird, and the others. Many tracks are siverely underrated, even by fans which is a huge shame. guess people dont appreciate good tunes after all then, they just jump on a bandwagon to slag off certain albums, fuck that

quite a few points of interest here.. Hindu Times is hands down in (my opinion) up there with Morning Glory. And L.Gallagher's 'born on a different cloud' is one of his best ever songs he's ever written. So with both those points in mind, why did they not ever play these 2 tunes ever again after that tour. I saw an Oasis show on that tour, and at the gig both those songs blew the audience away. & I read that they blew audiences away all over the world with them.. I loved the mood of this album.

Great fuckin record, grossly underrated and it's got Stop Crying Your Heart Out on it. Johnny Marr plays one of the solos on (Probably) All In The Mind too. The subsequent tour is when they got into a car crash in America and Liam got his teeth knocked out in Germany. Always something with those too !

I hadn't seen that in a long while, thanks for posting. It makes me wonder how many songs Noel already has in the bank for his upcoming solo album. He has stated many times that he has countless songs that "are not oasis songs". Even if you conservatively estimate that he already has 20-25 songs written that hadn't been used on albums or b-sides over the past 15 years, even if only 7 or 8 of them are great songs, this solo album is going to be extraordinary even for Noel's standards. CAN'T WAIT
