  • Hey steve, I'd love to know more about the process that was used.. like any sanding/scuffing? how many coats of vht used? any clear coat used? and if so how many layers? seems like alot of questions, sorry but i'd just like to know because i've seen vht used many times before but yours came out looking perfect!

  • I ordered the Joe z exhaust for mines last week I wanted the ones u got but as it is now I'm already getting bugged my the cops. Love the tinted lights Meade, dem wicked, bless

  • @meade916, obliviously not, your wealthy, respect bro, @THAD3ADS1L3NT

  • what kind of rims are those? I'm a new viewer

  • how many coats did you put on?

  • how much does this cost?

  • Steve is this tint on tail lights are removable? Did you add any sub to ur lex? If yes could pls put videos of it thx

  • Any plans to smoke the headlights?

  • now wrap it in matte black :D

  • @flippy9133 matte black is ugly and played out. I do like matte white though :)

  • Wanna sell me your original isF rims? :)

  • Hey Steve, Im thinking of doing VHT to mine. How many coats did Roy do??

  • then why can you buy recon smoked tailights? those are tinted and they are legal so that law isnt true

  • Love the LEDS always awesome, Love LEDS in stock halogen housings too.

  • did the same thing to my 04 f150 and it turned out great as well

  • Some time ago I suggested that you should do this and here we are !! Looks awesome!

  • Looks awsome a'f!!.

  • black on black best combo out there.. have you upgraded your front low beam + fogs yet?? deep blue like Tahoe would really look nice.

  • great choice on the Tints. Looks great!!

  • id like to know the process of how a professional such as Roy did it?

ive seen other vids and the comon process seems to be:

    wet sand

    paint thinner

    vht nite shade (x coats)

    clear coat

    very light wet sand

    then car poish

please correct me if im wrong and Steve, if you could tell me Roy's process cuz those look dam sexy!

  • what percent tint are those lights ?

  • i retract my comment on the last video. looks sick

  • are that new ones? or has he wraped the old taillights?

  • did he scuff up the lights before applying the nightshade? or did he just spray it on?

  • @meade916 hey was the toyo

  • Damn nice

  • STEVE IM A HUGE FAN OF YOURS. YOUR LIKE A CIG I WANT MORE AND MORE BUT WEN THERE'S NO MORE TO SMOKE/VEIW I LOOK AT YOUR OLD VIDS I JUST CANT GET ENOUGH OF YOUR VIDEOS. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

  • Hey Steve, are the lights like a mirror where you can see your complete reflection or can you see just a figure? I tried this paint out yesterday and it doesn't have a mirror type of finish.. I was thinking about yanking off the lenses on my tail lights and spray the insides to se what happens.

  • I want your car... :/

  • looks lush........i'd space to rear wheels out about 5mm with abit of stretch on the tyres

  • nice

  • We need a new generation of rich people; those who spend money the non-stupid way

  • @THAD3ADS1L3NT where do you see rich people? im not rich.

  • @THAD3ADS1L3NT Envy

  • @THAD3ADS1L3NT Careful, it'll get ya'

  • @THAD3ADS1L3NT He isnt rich. He has worked and mastered his profession and has earned the money and can do what ever he wants with it. The tinting that is illegal is the pitch black the can barely be seen period. These are still dark red and clearly visible.

  • i had the same degree of tint on my lexus. got pulled over twice in one week. i live in cali too. btw, if u get rear ended like you did before, the accident will be your fault. just looking out brotha.

  • @ponokeo wrong. They arent that dark. Thanks anyway.

  • @meade916 What's happening to that tercel now. Still haven't seen any new vids.

  • @meade916 bro, read the law. anything on ur tail lights is illegal. Some asshole will see ur car, think ur wealthy, and rear end you for money. it happens.

  • @ponokeo sorry to tell you but you cant just run into me and then try to sue me. It doesnt work that way. Besides, the lights are BARELY tinted, are mostly still red and can be seen perfectly day or night. I'm all good. Thanks anyway for the legal advice.

  • blacked out tail lights are dumb makes you less visible at night

  • @stealthcorvette not really. At night you can see them even better then the day since they have lights behind them. Speaking of dumb your comment comes to mind.

  • @meade916 coming from a dude with the name "stealthcorvette" right? haha. hey man just got your dd-1 in the mail too, gained 20% on my volume nob and 33% on the gains, such a badass tool.

  • @11335569 i didnt even notice hahha....oh and thats great bro glad you like!!!! AWESOME!

  • Looks good Steve! I am laughing at all these tacky fucks trying to tell you what you need to add...Go put a tinted license plate cover on your ricer! You may think you are rollin, you are NOT! haha

  • o carro fico muito bonito manero cara!!!

  • And to everyone saying its not safe he has led taillights which are plenty bright enough to get through 3 light coats of the night shades. Even in the shop you can still see the red plastic if they were completely blacked out you wouldnt see the red plastic

  • They look great I did the same thing to my gxp 3 LIGHT coats but make sure you hit them with a few coats of clear night shades tends to fade out in the sun

  • fuckin batmobile

  • SICK!!!

  • You need a tinted liscense plate cover... BAD

  • @Masterchief12113 no i dont bro that sounds extremely tacky. No thanks.

  • I was behind a totally stock white ISF today... DAMN it was nasty compared to what you've done with yours. I really don't think white worked for it either, black looks awesome, let alone the lowering etc. just make it look so much more slick.

  • Looks Extra Beastier 5* :)

  • thats a nice way to get pulled over.

  • @ld4v1dl for the 24389058901345890375 time, if a cop can see your brake lights from 200 feet away, then your good. also, when people get these, they usually get led bulbs to repalace the stock bulbs.

  • @pawnstar365 May be true and even though I love Steve's job and been following him since forever, I still don't like tinted tail and head lights... Choosing look over safety? This is the 1st time I'm disagree with Steve at stuff he's doing...

Seen o lot of cars with tinted tail, it's almost impossible to see the damn car at night till it hits brakes... and even with brake lights on it's still not bright enough...

    My two cents...

  • @VIDEOZAL settle down bro, its NOT unsafe and you can see them JUST FINE.

  • @meade916 oh fuck it! This Lexus is badass anyway lol

  • @VIDEOZAL LOL thanks......and trust me bro, they look a lot darker inside of my shop then outside. I agree on a fully blacked out tail light......but in my case we did 3 light coats. You can still see red in them when the sun hits them, thats how thin the coats were. So i get the best of both worlds. Tinted AND still safe.

  • @pawnstar365 The pigs still going to pull you over first. Are you even from cali?

  • LOL at the tercel trying to be a lexus wannabe

  • god damn that is sexy, that is a great looking car, Steve.

  • quick question do you use regular window tint for that or something special

  • man that looks good :)

  • danmmmm that baby looks hot tis a black beautiiiiiiiii

  • should have had him clear them to so you can polish them

  • @R350zz33 they are fine the way they are. I got this bro, but thanks for the advice.

  • @meade916 just saying they way you have them now you can take it off the 350z community has been doing this forever we tint them black and smoke them and the clear makes it so you can shine them up. my z had the vinyl first and it looked good then got crappy then i lost a fight with a pothole and redid them with nightshades and had them cleared to last longer and match the car. also if you have led tail lights the darker the better the people behind you will thank you at night lol

  • @R350zz33 i actually dont want them glossy, i like that they have a flatter, more satin look to them. Thanks anyway man.

  • Your car looks more then awsome, great job i saw that you put alot of work in this baby !! how much money did you spend on this monster !??!?

  • @meade916 Hey Steve, the Lex is hot as hell!!! And the tail lights looks great of course...but what was the process? I wish you would have shown that as well. I want mine tinted and was wondering if I can do it myself. Continued success...

  • look awsome, good job, steve ... anyway,do U change front lights ? U can put an Angel eyes there :)

  • @FazyCZ already has an LED strip on the bottom......angel eyes would look tacky as fuck. Too much crap going on at the same time.

  • def. get bigger rims like 22's maybe

  • @AiBigballin3 definitely not. This is a lexus not a clown mobile. Bigger isnt better RIGHT is better. 22's would look fucking stupid. Maybe on an LS460 but not an ISF.

  • Did you put some clear over the VHT? Ive used this stuff quite a few times and i've come to find that if you dont use a good automotive clear over them then the VHT will actually fade over time and suprisingly it doesnt take but a few months to notice a difference.

  • Every time I see this car I think of Knight Rider. Like it should say in a Brittish accent, "Good morning Steve, who the fuck are we gonna own today?" lol The IS-F is coming along real nice, curious to see how classy you get with the sounds.

  • LOVE your IS-F videos!!! I want this car so bad.....great job steve

  • That thing is so sick Steve! I love your videos and Ef all these haters. They are just jealous you have their dream job and they know they will never have one like this. Keep up the good work! I was also gonna suggest that some black pearl emblems would look killer on there. You probably already know this but I think Carson Tuning makes some for the ISF. Cant wait for the next video!

  • Good stuff in the Lexxus Deco. Big up roy for the awesome jobs he's done

  • MURDERED OUT!

    YEE!

  • @brutisking yeap except the lexus symbol

  • very nice car I have good taste, nomas I want to know the name of the cations that put him at the Chevy Tahoe was colored brown hen one that begins with a wolf, I'd appreciate it if auyando give me answer with the names

  • looks great steve but i had to laugh when i saw that you tested on the read cars taillights before you put it on your baby good thinking bro! great vid

  • bad ass

  • Do the cops trip on smoked tail lights up in your area? Ca. Hwy patrol harassed my buddy for tinted lights =/

  • LEXXXUS!

  • Your ISF is sicker than the one on my Forza profile...im jealous...

  • Looking fucking dope, man! You got my dream car..

  • if that vht starts to get dull wet sand with 1500 and clearcoat it or polish and wax. that stuff is bad about fading. i had a murdered out wrangler and it looked horrible after about six months but a quick sand and clear and it looked perfect!

  • Gotta say it-- and I'll likely get a lot of hate...Yes, I know it's an expensive car.

Yes, I know the badging adds about $10k to the value of the car...

But if you want a truly murdered-out sleeper, you HAVE to debadge that thing...chrome looks ugly on a blacked out whip man. ;)

  • Looks good all the changes make it better!

  • Looks sick

  • hey steve whats the plan for that toyota tercel i see in this video??

  • what rims are those? the car looks sick! am getting the same around new year need to w8 3 months in europe for it.

  • no sorry steve mine are the same darkness. the car looks alot better my car is smoke grey so it darkens it up no end.

  • ive done the same to mine. well i did it about 7 months ago. i got told they are illigel and wont pass an MOT iver aarrrhh ive got a mate that does my MOTs and ive not been pulled over yet :) mine are darker than these also.

  • looks fuckin fresh buddy . thumbs way up

  • damn that car looks MEANNNNNNNNNNNN

  • HEY... Steve whats up bud...

i do not want to tell u what to do... but if i may suggest something i might consider thinking about... just putting it out there k..

maybe black chrome the window trim and lexus and other badges along with muffler tips and a plastic smoked lic plate cover...

i think that would finish off that murder out look

but you do great always so it doesnt matter...

those are just some things i couldnt keep to myself lol

  • @svt4life black pearl emblems is all i am doing. That plate cover is too flea market for me. Same with my exhaust, its STAINLESS, why would i want it black? There needs to be a little contrast. I got this under control but thanks anyway. Also, thanks for not wanting to tell me what to do and then telling me what you think i should do in the same sentence lol.

  • Hey Steve, where you live are there strict laws against tinted front driver + passenger windows, windshield, and tinting tail lights? Just wondering... cuz here I'm from you get pulled over and ticketed :(

Oh, and have you done anything to the headlights yet?

  • @meade916 Hey steve, I was wondering if you could make a video explaining all the different types of mods needed to be done to the car to survive a system like yours, plus all the mods you do in general. Noticed in the description you mentioned ball joints, which really made me think about how many other small, but important mods go into your cars. Thanks! Keep bumping dude, I envy your setups!

  • @pokerface124 if you havent noticed, i make video's of EVERYTHING i do to these cars. Thanks! :)

  • @meade916 hey steve my cousin was looking to get a jeep srt8 but it was 70k, but that was to much for him, could u please do like a review, like how motortrend does, it would really help him and a lot of people trying to get a fast car, thanks

  • looks sick! but black out that window trim!!!!

  • such a boss whip

  • STEVE!!!!! give me a link to that stuff for the lights, i want to do my caddy with it.... Thanks man

  • sooo how much are those wwallet sized amps

  • That trunk will look nice with 2 T2 10's & paint the box like your tower speakers. But I'm sure u thought of that already. Nice ride!!!

  • nice job steve some people really tend to over do it with the msoke, that shit looks sick bro.

  • Stunning

  • Does that stuff come up and stay shiney? i have always used the stuff from autozone and they look dull . Im about to do my new car but if that stuffs better i can go get that from summit racing. Please let me know!

  • Metallica in the background! Creeping death!

  • Fucking Bat Mobile.

  • I think 4 12" dc lvl 4s in here would be a nice conservative system

  • Sometimes LESS is MORE. Thumbs up if you agree! LIKED!

  • i used the same stuff with my buddy on his jetta and it turned out siccckk

  • sexiest is-f

  • damn! that car could be the new KIT in a Nightrider remake...you plan on putting a system in that bad boy anytime?

  • i love what u do with your cars there all fucking sexy ass hell

  • Looks killer! Really completes the car.

  • black car cool!!!!!

  • are those led tailights?

  • HEY STEVE R U GONNA PUT A SOUND SYSTEM ON THE LEXUS!!

  • have fun with them citruis heights police... damn bastards!

  • hell I used that stufff on my dodge, looks great but I taped over the reverse lights to keep them bright.

  • I hope he did something similar too:

    ~Sand the tails with 2000grit

~wipe them down with rubbing alcohol/ paint thinner to clean them.

~1(slight tint over stock) - 3(pretty black) coats of VHT, light wet sanding after each coat with 2000grit because VHT likes to get an "orange peel" effect over time.

~Followed by 2-4 Coats of clear and baked on(or left to cure overnight)

~Use a very fine buffing compound to get the surface smooth. I say this, because they will fog up/fade over time otherwise.

  • I've had a can of that stuff for pretty much a year now, part of it has to do with laziness, the other part is I really don't want to fuck it up doing it myself.

  • does this stuff work well? cause i was about to buy some and the guy that was working said that this stuff works for about a month and then it fades off.. i thought he was bullshitting but couldnt be sure.. hows yours steve?

  • I want to do this to my 2010 Fusion but I'm afraid they might turn out uneven. Any tips?

  • they look great!

  • You always have the most badass stuff. Keep these videos comin. ill be subscribed until you delete your channel.

  • Did Roy wet sand, VHT, then clear the lenses? Or did he use another method?

  • That looks REALLY nice! I did the same thing to my truck, not as dark as that, but that VHT stuff works really well.

  • good stuff

  • I see you tried it on the Tercel too

  • Finally Steve.. Looking good!

  • Nice to hear some metal in the shop steve ;) Rock on man \\m// \\m//

  • Metallica!!!!!!!!

  • Next tint the Lexus logo at the back?

  • Are they LEDs or stranded bulbs?

  • Looks really good man! Adds to the whole Blacked Out package!

  • LOOOOVVVE blacked out cars!

  • did you use any clear coat over the nite shades? mine didn't seem a glossy

  • that's freakin' sick!!!

  • thats dead sexy steve!!!! cant wait to see the system build!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Good job homey... She looking mean as hell.

  • Black out the chromed trim, remove the badges and smoke the headlamps, and you will have the meanest looking isf there is;)

  • @meade916 i was just stating that if they had slightly wider it would fill the wheel wells a little better, it feels like right now theres just a little more to desire for the wells.

  • did he clear them? I cleared over VHT and it looks better with a bit of gloss.

  • Looks hella sweet but personaly i dont like to paint the tail lights i use smoked vinyl. The only good thing about the paint is that you can dark out the tail light more. Still love the look

  • Corrosion of Conformity!!!

  • im pretty sure this car can not get any sexier..... goodjob man

  • U could use some Fi neos and those tiny Soundigital amps for your ISF system.

  • @meade916 Haha Fosho! Looks good nonetheless
