  • Why so far no one has photographed and did not take off video grave Gary Moore in Brighton and did not post here? It is necessary to all those who loved him, but can not go and lay flowers.

  • I am from the Us and i loved Thin Lizzy /Phil Lynott!I am so glad i got the chance to see him in 1980 he was just the best ever! I was only 22 and i will never ever forget him.I stood right in front of him!I listen to him everyday.Saw Thin Lizzy last month in Pennsylvania, they were great and its good to see them keeping Phils name and his great music alive!I will Love Him Forever!Still In Love With You Phil <3

  • Unsure why Thin Lizzy didn't hit it big in the states? One thing is for sure... Thin Lizzy is the most under estimated band on planet earth!!! There's a lot more to this band than jailbreak and the boys are back in town!!! R.I.P. Phil

  • R.I.P.

  • I want to go leave him some black roses :) We miss you Phil.

  • @DeathMagneticRemastr There was certainly a lot of black roses on his grave when I was last there !

  • rest in peace ...

  • Yes I am still playing but now play in Spain where I now live.

  • i went to his house yesterday and met his mother, philomena, she helped my try on one of his jackets, it was beautiful. philomena is the biggest legend ever, she invited us to her 80th birthday party in october. we went to phils grave after. it was a good day! miss you phil xxx

  • look at my video of this. up to date. he's truly not forgotten

  • Where is this mate? Obviously Ireland but....north/south? Good to see respect & appreciation is still given to Phil.

I should put vid of Bon Scott's seeing as I live nearby :)

  • South. About a 15 minute bus ride out of Dublin at Sutton, County Dublin. Put the Bon Scott vid on. That would be good to see. Cheers.

  • @dudeypupu69 St. Finbar's cemetery. Sutton. Dublin. Out by the sea, lovely place. My granny and grandad are buried there and please God I will be too. R.I.P. Philo, and Bon. Would love to see Bon's grave please.

  • @Nautilus1972 Fintan's, not Finbar's...

  • RIP Phil

I'm still in love with...your music

  • i love lynott. amazing voice and bass player. thin lizzy aint the same without him. it kinda makes me mad that lizzy still plays even though hes not around anymore.

  • Cheers Pal.

  • lol..sorry

  • lol? What's so funny pal?

  • It was two months ago i cant even remember.certainly wouldnt have been phil lynott i was laughing at.maybe a comment someone else made

  • still the sexiest voice ever.

  • Happy 60th Birthday Phil...xx

  • rock never dies r.i.p phil

  • Poor Phil he was such a legend and his death is such a shame. Where abouts is his grave? I'm visiting Ireland later this year and am planning to visit the statue of him.

  • I think Crowther probably gave Phil a hard time because Phil shagged all Crowther's daughters and his wife as well. Some boy was our Phil!!

  • I met john earle in slatterys pub in rathmines an he told me leslie crowther made phils life a misery, one because his daughter had married an irishman and two because he was black......poor phil an caroline, they had'nt a hope....X

  • Love Lizzy, but this is a bit morbid. And you have TWO grave videos.

  • I do. But it's only because Phil's dead. If I had me camera when Lizzy were in action, I'd far rather have posted alive stuff. But Youtube didn't get many hits in the eighties.

  • Kontrollera din ilska!

  • Have you tried anger management pal?

  • Have you tried to show some respect?

  • miss you philo xx

  • R.I.P Roisin dubh

  • kiddies.. If you are wanting to know just what it is to be a "legend", well, now you know.. R.I.P. Phil..

  • He wass<the best Bass gittarest yeah!!!

  • You can always hear the KINGS CALL!!!

  • Kings Call .. what an awesome song that is!

I only heard it for the first time recently, and it's one of my favourites :)

  • R.I.P PHILLO

  • Where is he buried?

  • Phil is buried in St Fintans ,Sutton on the nortside of Dublin city close to Howth.

  • St Fintans, turn left a sutton cross and drive for about 5 minutes and its on the left

  • Phillip stands alongside Rory Gallagher, Ronnie Drew, Luke Kelly, Van Morrison and a few others as the *TRUE* heroes of Irish music. The Louis Walsh brigade are nothing more than businessmen, end of story.

  • @jexplink Maby even a little taller!

  • What is the difference in accents, Phil had a very really cool dark accent, NOTHING like the LOUIS WALSH lepricorn type.

  • Simple. Phil was a good lad, but Louis Walsh is a dirty queer wee bastard who's tonsils are tainted with jizz. That's why he talks like that.

  • My mate usd to play with all the big bands in the 60,s and 70,s and stayed with Phil,s mum Philomena who was irish at her lodgings called Carlton Lodge in Manchester,s, Whalley Range. He said he was one of the nicest guys you could meet!

  • I think it may have been called Clifton Grange. It became a regular hang-out for celebrities of the time. Phil kept up with George Best a time or two in there.

  • Can't you keep the camera steady dude?

  • I had a big night, the night before this.

It's a case of Budweiser Blues. I'll try harder to keep the thing steady next time.

  • Ignore that clown. A really good video, thanks for sharing it. It would be brilliant to see something done to remember the 25th anniversary of his passing

  • Thx. for vid. informative. Maybe re-do with "Whiskey in the Jar"? & keep camera very still on one spot, the GRAVESITE & a bit of surroundings perhaps. What a talented man he was. "Mush a ring dumma do damme da".

  • I'm gonna do another one next time I'm down there. The surroundings are fantastic and I'll capture them, and I'll try my best to keep the old camera a lot steadier!!

  • hi unlikeanyotherhuman, same for me with the flying fear, but i will go this year to pay my respect to phil and philomena. Since im from Denmark, i think...boat to england, through england and sail to ireland. Anybody got idears? RIP Phil

  • i went to his grave this time last year and a couple days before we actually went some idiots vandalised it, they pulled the flowers out of the pot, graffiti'd it and broke it.

People have no thoughts for the dead, it's disgusting!

  • Rest easy Phil Lynott... rest easy... I'm goin' Southbound.

  • today is his 22nd anniversary, Phil RIP

  • phil

    love u

  • You know, I thought I'd be offended by someone filming and replaying such a great mans grave site visit on this forum, but I was wrong. Thank you for the video in memory of one of my heros. I sorely miss Phil Lynott, his music and his great spirit here on earth. Maybe one day we'll all get to see him again.

  • Thanks. Your So Lucky To Go There.

    RIP PHIL X

  • Glen Corr is outside thr city in Howth, sold a few years ago I think.

  • Thanks for sharing this. RIP Phil.

  • RIP Phil.

  • I am visiting ireland later this year and i was wondering if any of you know how i can get to glen corr house.Much appreciated.

  • Glen Corr is situated on Claremont Road, Howth and was sold in 1993. It has kept its name but is owned by a private family who live there and, to my knowledge, visitors or other Thin Lizzy type hangers-on would not be welcome. This is not to stop you from walking up Claremont Road.

  • woah, it makes me cried! Thin lizzy is the band who made me rock music loved. Like others Phil left left too soon. Rest in peace my friends.

    thanks for this video

  • I like the way your camera makes a noise when it zooms lol. RIP Philip Lynott, I may go and see the Sykes-fronted Thin Lizzy in Exeter in December.

  • Thanks also for posting this video!!!

    RIP Phil!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for posting this, mate

  • I`ll be visting you Phil in August 20th R I P Phil xxxxxxx

  • respect!!

  • Phil was/is loved...R.i.p. bro. You were the best.

  • respect. you didn't see his mum about did you? i just heard she visits every day and occasionally takes lizzy fans back to his house for tea

  • She does visit every day, but I missed her that day.

    Cheers.
