Also ive found out something about Jergens! One time i looked at my skin, and it looked like there was dirt on my arms, and i realized it was the jergens, and then you could see some of my white skin underneath and looked really bad, so Jergens is basically just a mask! T.T

I use the Sublime Bronze and I mix it in my palm with regular lotion. It stops it from sparkling, gets rid of the smell, and stops it from streaking!!!

@paramoure101 Normally, it's all like $39.95. To me, the exfoliator and maintainer moisturizer are gimmicks. If you already have an exfoliator of some sort and a moisturizer you like, just buy the self tanner and save your money(if you don't have these, I recommend St. Ives Apricot scrub or St Ives Elements & Aveeno active naturals moisturizers). Amazon has an amazing deal on just the Ultra Dark tanner. I'll send you the link in a message!

Okay...... The loreal one, with a gel ur supposed to add some lotion to it so u can work with it. Also if u put it on at night in the mornin ur supposed to take a shower to wash away the 1st coat so u'll have the tan left not the glitter- experienced

@ktowncheerlear07 it has that effect if you use too much, but use your lotion mixed in with it, whenever you put it on. It does have at first a weird effect on people who are super pale but after a week it does look nice:) not orange.

@oneworld24 well it's because of the key ingredient in self tanners, DHA (dihydroxyacetone), that unfortunately happens to be a really smelly ingredient. so the smell can't really be avoided in the making of self tanners, because it's one of the most important ingredients that smell. :)

@ctubeyea I have read in numerous magzine articles and online that you do not choose a tanner with the color that you WANT to be. choose the color that you are. that is how you avoid going orange.

I have the loreal sublime bronze instant result one but it must be a different formula or something (I love in scotland) because it doesn't streak at aaall and it gives a lively colour! You should try the mousse, its really great. I am super pale and i use the St. Tropez mousse with the little glove that you can get from the company, i got mine from ebay for like 6 dollars. With the mousse there is no streakiness and you get an instant result that will days a few days even with showering. I highly recommend it.

@daydreamin36 i bought all of them, which is a good deal. and the exfoliater REALLY works. its crazy how good it works. i'm sure you can find another one somewhere, like a regular one from a drugstore or something. but the maintainer makes it last sooo long. i did it about a week ago, and used the maintainer in the morning, and i STILL have a tan. so i think you should just get the bundle :)

WOAH, you have the tell tale sign of self tanning by looking at your wrists. To avoid that line between your palm and your wrist, after washing all the self tanner off your hands, take a pea size amount on the tips of your fingers, and rub on the back of your hand & blend the line on your wrist to the base of your palm.

&also, as a side note, ive noticed with the sunlab tanner, if you dont wash it off the day of putting it on, it tends to streak after sweating and moving. Plus, it transfers.
