i have just started a landscape architecture degree after 2 years of town planning. i found planning too dry and not design orientated enough for me and architecture too concerned with form and aesthetics.
i was however able to transfer the knowledge i had from these disciplines into l/a. i really do think it takes all the best elements of planning, architecture and environmental science to create something that will make a difference in this world.
@ModestDanny I just graduated with a degree in landscape architecture. Yes, we were required to take up basic calculus. Depends on the university though, I think.
I love nature... This field will make me more progressive... I love arranging plants and trees. :) thanks for sharing this...
