The rock is a good contrast to the singer's voice, but I don't think this is a good version for Rei, the backround music should be more mysterious sounding and creepy. Probably ochestra I'm thinking with some chimes, and maybe the occasional electric guitar stab to give it a dissonant and nervous effect.
