I don´t know many SUNG Romanian typical songs, but this was the first (I repeat: SUNG) that I heard (some 15 or 20 years ago?...), as before it I just knew instrumental pieces. I simply loved and stil love it 'til now. Such soft ways of singing ["doinas"] that Romanians have, even if not with "great / strong" voices, is probably beyond comparison.
