what is your favorite msf out of the three you discussed in this video? redhead/blonde/soft and gentle. i have soft and gentle and just ordered blonde and am contemplating on whether or not to get redhead, too. i'd love to have every msf, but i know they wouldn't get the love they deserve. lol i absolutely love you and your videos. don't change anything you do! congrats on your engagement! <3

do MSF have lots of fallout? like, do the glitter/shimmer transfer down to the chin and stuff? also, can you wear it as eyeshadow? is there a lot of fallout with that too?

@kimchichick Some of them do some of them dont- they are all different. I would not use them as a shadow- they dont have any staying power for that!

Lisa, I was just looking at some of your older vids and I must say, your hair looks soooo goooood now as compared older vids. What do you think has made the difference in thickness and shine?? My hair is so thin and lifeless I would luv to know.

I hate my soft and gentle msf! trying desperately to use it up but its not even looking used. :( i have noticed i prefer it when im paler. with a tan its too shiny or something can't put my finger on it!

i looked on the mac site and soft and gentle is still there.. what's going on? if its on the website does it still mean its in the stores? or is it just online? because i don't want to go all the way to a mac counter if its not going to be there..

I just brought Soft and Gentle. Hope I like it. I agree so many of the MSF's are the same. In the pan, the look unique but, on the skin to close to even bother.

I have Soft and Gentle. Its the only MSF I own, actually. I rarely use it...but I must say, I probably use it more as a highlighter on my brow than on my cheeks because I have such oily skin that I feel it just enhances my shine in the wrong kind of way. Helpful review!

I recently bought Soft and Gentle. I actually like it much more than the other two that I have. I agree--it is a bit too shimmery, but I think with the dry winter months, it would work well.

i would definitely not use a MSF for the undereye area. it is a powder, not creamy.

I find it a bit cakey after a few hours- it seems creamy at frist but not through the day! :o( I am trying it with different priers first though!

I totally agree Lisa. So many of these are dupe-able. What gets me to buy is how neat they look with veining or the gradient stripes. Probably the one I love and it is different from all the others is porcelain pink. It has a beautiful finish.

Soft & Gentle comparted to perfect topping look identical on. Shimpagne is so shiny and it accentuates every bump and pore on my face and I have pretty nice skin.

You are so great for doing these reviews and tutorials! I was wondering if you've tried any smashbox eye liners. In particular their version of Stila's smudge pots. I have a couple of them but every time I use them they tug at my eyes and skip. They also seem to have dried out some. Just trying to decide if I should switch to a liquid eye liner at this point. Thanx!

I do ahve a smashbox one and it got very dried out and it was hard to work wiht!  Smudge pots are amazing- much better than Clinique, MAC or Smashbox that i have tried! :o) Enjoy!

will you compare mac paint pots with other cream shadow bases if you get the chance? i just have soft ochre and i find it very dry so i'm wondering if they are all this consistency and what you'd recommend?

I found painterly paint pot also very drying to the eyelids. I took it back and they just told me I must be using it wrong! The matte ones I've tried all have the same consistency. what is the point of moisturising your eyes, just to dry them out again?, I will never buy again (Benefit do much better ones now)

I find the matte ones are slightly drying but that helps keep the shadow on it! :o) The shimmer ones are more moist! :o)
