That's not a GT500. You can see that the gauge cluster is one from a Mustang GT. In a GT500 the tachometer and speedometer are on opposite sides.

12.58 w/ a bone stock 04 Cobra? Don't believe that one.... I've seen 12.7's from pro drivers but thats about as low as I have ever seen from a BONE stock 03-04. Everyone has different definitions of stock though I guess....

Evan Smith an editor for MM&FF ran a 12.43 @ 113 mph in a bone stock 03 Cobra. I would believe his posted ET before his posted trap speed. I don't DR though, and bought my Cobra because their good at being fast/powerful/easy to live with street cars.

After reading thru more posts, hah, I've been around that way many times, although I'm from the outskirts of Allentown, actually, Stroudsburg, PA. You may have seen me at Carlisle, I have the '04 Termy, but didn't have my Kenne Bell at the time, just a pulley/exhaust/tune with full suspension and brakes. Mine stood out cause I'm one of the only Terminator owners with brembo brakes and German wheels lol...

Actually the cobra did NOT have a passenger. he was alone. any my GT at the time weighed 3850 with just me in it. I also had a buddy and my brother, easily another 400+ lbs to make my car heavier than the cobra.

First of all you never stated what you have done to your car. Second of all how do you know he was "far" from stock if you never seen under his hood or know him personally? Anybody can make a car faster than another car. Cobras arent unbeatable and he could have been a bad driver. Theres no way stock for stock a 05/06 GT will beat an 03 Cobra with good drivers. Cobra will come out on top always. Theres a 100hp difference stock for stock.

he claims to have 601rwhp which i no longer beleive haha. ported S/C, pullies ignition upgrades, fluidyne radiator and heat exchanger. many more that i jsut dont know off the top of my head.  hes pretty worked up running 15psi of boost as well

i did it myself. get a 2" hole saw, remove the glove box and pass air bag and the IUP piece over the instrument cluster. the center vent piece comes right out. 4 bolts. then hole saw 2x2" holes and dremel em to fit the 2 1/16" guages
