SU30 looks good but engines of these jets are made in russia. Russian jets are very cheapy made and engines are very Unreliable. Worse thing that can happen is these jets start to crash.

That's true, India is unlikely to attack Pakistan, but for a different reason. Pakistan is filled with Taliban and Al Qaeda members along with Nuclear weapons. India like any other nation, is against any terrorist from getting their hands on these weapons. Attacking Pak (thus weakening its gov) would be detrimental to the fight on terrorism.

They are probably doing touch-n-gos without actually touching down. This causes less stress on the landing gear, but still provides good approach training.  The landing gear is down to simulate exactly the aircraft configuration at the time of landing. I hope this helps.

To top off Su-30MKI advantage it also is fitted with reaward facing radar and has a missile reaward-firing capability. Its RWR can pinpoint the exact location or the threat (Range, direction). Being a true multi-role fighter it can penetrate at low-altitude and deliver all the latest precision weapons both western and russian made. Also they are data-linked. The IRST can fire a missile without using radar which keeps it concealed until the last moment. And all its avionices are latest tech. :-)

F-16 pilot will run from 1-on-1 fight if he is smart.
