wow a client of mine told me about this incident and I couldnt believe it! as an alaskan resident, i think this stupid girls should get kicked out of our great state ;-)
It looks like the girls may have benn two close,but not attacked it seems that the girls looked suprised to see the Swans using the defense. Remeber the a bird will move in on a threat and I think this is what happened the girls looked to ride around and the Swan's did what is natural to them and chase the PWC. This is coming from a rider i would never harm a soul and i dont think they meant harm unless i am seing the video wrong.
A U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service agent at the lake Wednesday found no sign of any dead baby swans, agency spokesman Bruce Woods said Thursday morning. It's illegal to kill the birds, protected by the U.S. Migratory Bird Treaty Act.
The agent did, however, see two adult swans with four cygnets in the general area of the incident, near the lodge, Woods said. Unless someone comes up with a dead bird, the agency's involvement in the case is over.
If they are ever found, the parents should have to pay a hefty fine and the girls should get at the very least 1000 hours community service each.Unless someone sees this clip, recognizes the girls and turns them in nothing can be done. Nobody has the right to harm any creature.
And we wonder why the world is the way it is. If parents can't discipline their children, this is how they grow up!! NO RESPECT FOR ANY LIVING CREATURE!!

Anyone with half a brain or conscience knows it is wrong to run over birds on a jetski. But, clearly, the riders were cruel, mean-spirited dumb@ss rednecks with, at most, 12.7% of a brain. And that is why this stuff happens. Dumb, talent-less rednecks with nothing better to do than destroy things.
It appears that one of the cygnets (babies) has gone missing since this incident. This was only a small portion of the incident - those girls went at the swans a total of 5 times.
I am tired of weekend people (mostly Anchorage) coming out and disrupting the lake... I hope these two are caught and catch hell from their parents (a little much to hope for, I know).
