He carried a staff and a sling instead and when Goliath charged, he slung a stone hitting Goliath in the forehead and Goliath died and landed on his face. Then using Goliath's sword, David cut off his head and the Israelites won the battle (Goliath was a champion so his demise was scary :) )

There is mention of the Children of Israel. It says it in the very first sentence. And there are many [;aces in the Quran where it commands you to fight idolaters and people of the book! 2. Muslims and Jews should advise and protect each other
3. They should have goodness in their treatment of each other.

Long story short, David was a boy and he could not wear an armor as wasn't used to it and he couldn't carry a sword as he wasn't strong enough. He carried a staff and a sling instead and when Goliath charged, he slung a stone hitting Goliath in the forehead and Goliath died and landed on his face. Then using Goliath's sword, David cut off his head and the Israelites won the battle (Goliath was a champion so his demise was scary :) )

That is not evidence for all time. There is no regulation in the Quran,. hadith or tafsirs. There is no official fixed rate. Do you really think 1 dinar is required today? LOL! Thats less then a penny. This is just propaganda for Muslims to use in order to fool themselves and others! Ibn kathir neither erect in our areas a monastery, church, or a sanctuary for a monk, nor restore any place of worship that needs restoration nor use any of them for the purpose of enmity against Muslims.

The concerned verse was revealed in regard to a Sahabi Hazrat Haseen Ahmed Ansari (RA). His two sons were taken to Syria by some traders and converted to Jews. He requested the prophet (pbuh) to send someone and fetch them back into Islam whom he considered adolescent. At this occasion, this Aayat was revealed.
