Yeah, I was disapointed with this as well. It would have been far more interesting if he was a vampire who could go out into the sunlight (and thankfully, does NOT @&#%$*^! Sparkle) as the games have a lot of other far fetched things, so a vampiric warrior is nothing too problematic...and it would make the story far more interesting.
