Why not stop the car and use those things dangling from your rump, yes thats them theyre called legs, No mention of the window of the "Dirty Bottles" Oh thats right you drove straight by. Better luck next time
I lived 7 miles out of Alnwick for the first 17 years of my life, I went to the Duchess's High School at the top of the hill. My parents and other members of my family still live there. We usually get down 2 / 3 times a year.
"That building there" is an old hospital called St Leonard's that was affiliated with the abbey in the Parks. Right next to it is Malcolm's Well, possibly not named after the same Malcolm that was given a good hiding at the cross though (there was more than one)! Otherwise I'm impressed you know so much about the place for someone who I presume isn't local?! I'm a local historian (only an amateur mind you) but I'd be glad to tell you more about our wonderful town next time you're up, or down!
Thank you for sharing this video. When I am in college I plan to study abroad in Alnwick (I am an American) the cool thing is Saint Cloud State University has a campus inside the castle, so I will get to live and go to school inside the castle! We certainly do not have castles in the United States so that is very exciting. It was neat to see a tour of a place I will hopefully visit in a few years. Thanks very much.
I'm glad you liked it. I'm certain that you will enjoy your time in Alnwick and hope that you follow the example of past students by bring something to the town. Way back in the 1980's I was taught to play basketball by a student from your Uni.
i work at alnwick gradens woohoo lmao can i add the treehouse is the 2nd biggest treehouse in the world but europes biggest and it was made with 280 tonnes lol
Many thanks for the correction and the interesting information Aaron. Keep up the good work at the Gardens and hopefully we will visit later in the summer (LMAO) - maybe even a video out of it too.
You could of done a better job by planning it out a little better so that you weren't constantly having a go at Robbie, and maybes not using what just seems like a camera phone, as the quality is nothing to be proud of.
The quality is so low because of the condensing I had to do to get it within the limits imposed by YT. We will be making more videos in Northumberland at Easter & in the Summer. None of my videos are planned, but that is something I will consider for the future. Thanks for the honest feedback.
Andy that was wonderful. You're letting all of us lads from the colonies see some beautiful places. Of course I keep thinking you are driving on the wrong side of the road. LOL Anyway, thanks so much for sharing your trip with all of us. -jim
lol The bits on the wrong side of the road were edited out lol. There is more to come so watch this space or the other one if you prefer. ;) I really am over joyed that you guys enjoy my little videos.
Many thanks I really appreciate your kind words. I will see what I can do about getting a video from inside a few castles for you. It will take a few months, maybe April, before I can do it but I will.
I love yours scenic videos too, especially as they are from a part of the UK I have never visited. I'm delighted you enjoyed this one I will be posting more in the future so keep your eyes open for them.
Your welcome and have one of Berwick on Tweed, which will be up in the next two days. Then come easter and summer will have more from this part of the country.

yeh i live in alnwick..its really not that special.
the high school ruins the town in my opinion to many school kids walk along bailif gate.

I started watching this laughing away, thinking it was a joke. But it's not, it's actually for real.
You've driven around the town, filming out of a window and put it to a soundtrack of Kenny G.
You've actually made me depressed about my home town. Thanks.
