If you realize it water, oceans life, trees, aninals are made for humans to live in a balance. It is not a co-incident. If we were animals we wouldn't destroy anything. But we have souls, we're humans.
To be honest the problem is us humans, get rid of us problem solved. But seriously we can live in a modern world efficiently while preserving the Earth all it takes is effort however people are too damn lazy to even make simple trips to recycling centres these days. In my personal opinion there are too many people to be supplied with resources now i know its no-ones say to say who lives and who doesnt but it might have to come to that if the near future with a growing population.

The Earth has been here for billions of years, surviving global warming, global cooling, ice ages, volcanic eruptions, being hit by meteors, extreme weather, its floating around a giant ball of fire and radioactive waves.
