yo how come when i open device manager it only shows phone and not the port that its connected to in vista

and everytime i try to connect to cdma workshop it only connects to com3 eventhough i have nothing connected in the computer not even the phone then i try the phone in different ports and it still only connects to com 3

Hey bro thanks alot iv gotten a bunch of ringtones on my phone now but now when i try there are errors showing up like

This happens halfway through putting it on my phone while in bitpim

What do i do to fix this?

question once youve made one ringtone and you unplug the phone. the next time you make one do you have to unlock it using the cdm workshop or is it forever unlocked?

I solved it. I had to buy a ringtone first and use that data to make new ringtones as your text is out of date. Thanks for getting me started though.

Unlocking and everything works up until I reboot the phone. The ringtone does NOT show up and connecting back to my PC requires my to unlock my phone again. After that I notice that the files I uploaded are not there. What's going on? Can you help?

I'm not sure man sorry, make sure you did EVERYTHING right from the beginning to the end of the video, do everything from the beginning.

This is because the driver isn't installed in your computer, install the driver like I say in the beginning of the video.

Very useful tutorial; thanks a lot. Should probably point out that the text file you describe is for MIDI ringtones. Slight difference applies for MP3 ringtones (in terms of editing the txt file).

Just click send again. If that didnt work either, close it and do everything again. Make sure you do everything exactly as i say
