the phone can record video with 30 and 120 fps too. the 120 fps video record mode is the good for slow motion. it makes 120 pictures per second and connect them into a video:D i love that mobile phone

when i record in slow mo its REALLY dark, even in a well lit room, anyone know how to fix this?

That happens because the shutter speed is too fast in slow motion mode. You can't fix this, but you can prevent it. When you shoot in slow motion mode, make sure that you're in a well lit area...

i've got both too.. although both cameras are 5mp, i think my viewty takes better pics than my new secret.

Unless you make the phone record it at that speed, it'll be jumpy.

Every 4 frames this shows, your N95 video would show one.

You'd end up with a higher res video than this, but it'd look like a mini slideshow.

Hi can anyone comment WITHOUT DOUBT from first hand experience that the Secret has inferior quality 120fps video to the Viewty?

If so, by what extent??

The slow mo video is a big selling point for me on these phones and I'd like to get the best quality!

Viewty has a Schneider-Kreuznach lense, unlike the Secret. ;)

A Schneider-Kreuznach lens is a much better quality lens than on most camera phones. It's comparable to the Carl-Zeiss lens found on some Nokias... Many mobile phones have plastic camera lenses, whilst the Schneider-Kreuznach (and Carl-Zeiss) are made of glass, and greatly improve the quality of the photos. The LG Dare's and LG Secrets' cameras are both worse than the Viewty's, as the Dare only has 3.2MP and the Secret does not have special lens. I hope this will avoid further confusion for u.

um yeah, on cnet they showed some photo comparisons and the viewty was way worse. it had all these blue and purple marks so im pretty confident the secret has a way better camera. but if u like big shiny spinny things buy the viewty
