i think 3 grand for 300 hp was more of a random round. if he was more serious it would been more like $3,182 for a car that pushes 227 hp to the wheels and 354 at the crank. =P

I have a 5.0 with a 302 Engine. It pushes maybe 250. Yes, it's a powerful engine, but it'll only push 300 HP with mods.

naw...mine came stock with about 350 hp....it was one of the most powerful engines they have....

Ehhh. I'm gonna go dyno mine then and see how much it's pushin. I know it is pushing a lot, but not 350 stock. A cobra would push that much, maybe. Newer ones are 340 HP stock.

@98navihater Actually, the fox bodies made 225 rwhp. Ford has always rated the whp as crank horsepower for insurance and sales purposes. The 94-95 made 240 crank hp, yes, but they were only making 215 to the rear wheels. They were detuned in 93 in the last year of the fox body.

you think thats bad my uncle was in the worst recorded car crash on a Arkansas Highway. He was seeing how fast his 5.0 would go he lost control it jumped over a rail on the other side of a interstate hit a 18 wheeler head-on got sucked under it started to spin and blew up. There were no survivers.
