  • I just came her because Hank was here. I don't know why. DFTBA.

  • DFTBA.

  • Can anyone help me? My greyhound is used to sleeping in my bed and now i am trying to move her back into her Crate which is about 5 feet away from my bed. And whenever i put her in her crate she starts whining to get back in, it is so annoying that i have to. once again, can someone help me.

  • Nice to see a happy well-looked after grey, top dog. 10 stars for the bed making.

  • i want one!! i do have a greyhound mix though and she is beautiful!! 8]

  • My one is the same :)

  • Greys are lovely dogs :)

  • Skye is funny - and gorgeous! My grey, Missy, does this (but without the joy) when you tell her 'no' about something. It's her way of having a tantrum.

  • I now dub thee "Carpet Raker". :P

  • Fantastic. Live the earsies.

  • Our three greys do the same thing :P

  • Bed-murderer!!

  • My greyhound Champ does the same thing every night before bed as well!

  • What a gorgeous grey you have! Loved watching the video, he looks a very happy boy. I have two greyhounds (both adopted from the Isle of Skye as it happens). They are the best breed!

  • Looks Like My Greyhound :) Her Name Is Rosie Tho Haha. Soo Cute :)

  • With my greyhound, if something (no matter how small) is in her way she will just stand there whining until we move it. She's a bit dim but I still love her :)

  • Your dog looks so much like my dog, Artemis. She is my buddy. She often makes her bed, but she's awful at it and always makes it worse. Then she wants me to fix it for her. She's very entertaining.

  • My hound ALL night!!

  • haha too cute.. his bed making skills are as good as mine :P

  • my dog does this too but she's just a mutt

  • Should be bed 'unmaking' skills :L they are too stupid! It makes them so adorable :L!! x

  • meh greyhound's name is Skyy XD

  • So beautifu...l!!! =)

  • The key isn't in the making the perfect bed, but tiring yourself out to the point that you will be willing to sleep on any goddamn thing.

  • I have a miniature that does the same thing. It's as bad as waiting for them to find the absolute perfect spot to go number 2 at the dog park. There is only one spot in the park that will do, and they will search for 10 mins to find it. Then they have to do the victory scratch when done with their business like they really accomplished something special.

  • O: very good demonstration. ill have to try that later but i wont be as good as him :(

  • my friends dog has a duck like that toy

  • hahaha I have a whippet and she does the EXACT same thing. it's hilarious.

  • lol mine (RIP) did that all the time. Usually the bed would be on the other side of the room.

  • the dogs just happy and probbably wants a teddy to play with its not angry you idiot and noob is old very very old and if you use it on youtube it means your a retard that has nothing else to sat

  • My hound Gracie (rip) did the exact same thing. I swear, it took her 5 hours to get it right. They're building a nest. Since they have virtually no fat, it's hard for them to get comfortable on a flat surface. And no, they don't do the same to anything else, except maybe a bunch of pillows if you let them on a bed.

Best dog I ever knew, very sweet and gentle. I hope to get more someday.

  • ....Must make bed.....perfect!

  • It's just fun. Kinda strange - and hard on the bedding, but fun. Greys are smart, and like any other dog, they're similar, but every one is unique. Skye never chewed anything. and has never knocked anything over, But he did get the top off peanut butter jars. And cordial bottles. So, very smart, but still a dog. You have to be top dog, or he (she?) will take that place lickety split, and you'll find yourself cooking steak, medium rare, on demand. Have fun with your hound.

  • We are picking our greyhound up on Saturday. Why do they do this? Does any owners out there have any advice for us? I am afraid he will destroy our home. We bought him a bed similar to this, but I am afraid he will do this to some of our furniture.

  • No don't worry greyhounds don't do that. They are very clean animals and very laid back but you will already know this by now as you posted your comment three weeks ago.

  • Yes. Now that we have had him for a while. He has never done this to his bed. He is sooo laid back. He is a 2 1/2 yr old male. Best behaved dog I have ever had. He was house broken from day one. The only problem is, he likes to spend most of his time sleeping upstairs away from us. We have no children and are a quiet couple. I don't know why he likes to be alone so much.

  • i just got a retired greyhound 2 weeks ago. she goes crazy like this for two minutes and then just lies down and falls asleep. they are so weird but i love them. :)

  • The greyhound isn't playing with the bed. They like very soft beds such as a single/duvet with cover and they like to rake them into a nest type bed. This greyhound was trying to make a nest but the bed is too small and not flexible enough.

  • when I go out shopping and leave my girl

on here own she take all the bedding off my bed /her bed so when get back my bedroom a mess still she my sweetie and she got a thing for underwear she takes them and puts them in her bed.

  • When my parents got their second greyhound she did this the first night we had her. It was her way of telling us she wanted a bed the same as their other greyhound.

Of course she got one :)

    Spoilt much? ;)

    Mhelp2U

  • bless !!!!

  • I don't think he likes the bed OR the carpet lol.

    *****

  • my dog used to do that to every bed we got him so we eventually gave up n he sleeps on my bed with me or he sleeps on the couch or where ever he pleases...he's so spoiled...he's a spoiled brat actually...lol....

  • lol! greyhounds rule

  • Oooh! Hey, I totally make my bed that way too (if hunting for keys).

    Greyts are such cuties!

  • ROTFL! That bed was nearly prefect at the end! :-)

  • MacMacMansions, thank's for your comments. Your dog has other skills, like making his own bed, hahaha. And congratulations, your dog is really nice!!! Thank's !!! We have tried to teach our dog as many things as possible, but the one that appears in our video it has been the hardest and also the funniest to watch. The translation of "neteja" means "to clean" in catalan, our language in Catalunya. Good luck !

  • Oh I love it! So cute! hilarious! Our greyhounds Dolly and Shooter send hugs!

  • I have seen these guy turn in complete circles up to 40 times! They have to have their beds exactly right! Wonderful animals. I would not tak $10,000 for mine!

  • he looks so happy thinking he has done a good job lol i have a 12 month old grey hound ive put a vid responce of him

  • Beautiful dog, perfect collar for that long neck. I have the Italian Greyts (the miniature ones) and they do the same thing.

  • Hehehe!

  • he is a great bed maker

  • Looks like he's trying to make his bed, then can't keep himself from bursting into play. What a cutie :)

  • Hmmm, your baby looks like he just simply gave up. He is adorable. But yes, we know what that scene is all about!!!

They are so cute when they do that.

  • OOOOOhhhhhhh yes what afamiliar performance!!

  • That looks familiar!!! LOL About a minute is what it takes for their spurt of energy to discipate isn't it? Very cute, your greyhound is beautiful!

  • so funny!!! and cute
