I had this album, book, and Nathaniel the Grublet, and Cranston Thorndike and the Dragon.

Me and my best friend would always sing the songs and when I grew up and became a preschool teacher I used the "Patience" song with my students and they LOVED it.

yeah they sort of redid the musical for a cartoon version in the early 80's. I had the LP for this and Bullfrogs and Butterflies - was a bit different for sure! Original was better...but this was something I watched as a kid too and really loved it.

So wierd. I had a CD called the Music Machine when I was like 3 yeras old, and it was a lot like this, but I remember the song being different. The other songs on the CD were all about the Fruits of the Spirit... lost it a long time ago. Wierd to see the movie thoug, I didn't know there was one.
