Did you notice the car numbers? They're all in sequence...I did cut the video down a little bit for upload size...but you can clearly see the old 'Southern Railway' and the car numbers as they pass by...

I believe the horn is a new cast P3, rather fouled. NS puts these on a lot of former Conrail units, sadly, in replace of Leslie RS3L's. P5's are rarer on exCR units. Nice blue looking! I really like the rail train. Nice catch!

They probably stripped them off the old 'Southern Railway' units, that's what a lot of those used to sound like.

Not in 2008. Blues are dropping like flies, NS goal is to get most repianted into the horsehead scheme by 2009. 4 SD80MACs remain in blue, at least 3 were painted this year. That's why I'm going to the west slope in a few weeks to film them in the "Conrail Cadillac" scheme while I still can.
