  • i've always wonderered what kind of torch is used for jewelry. is it oxyhydrogen?

  • @Blutquell many different gasses or gass/oxygen mixes can be used. Most common are oxy/propane and oxy/acetalene. As far as I know, platinum has to be welded by laser because there is no such thing as platinum solder, and the melting temp is so high. This could be wrong, but as far as I know it is correct. If I'm wrong, someone please let me know.
