ive downloaded quite a few power metal bands only 1 album though after that only buy to support them blind guardian hammer fall and stratovarius i didn't down load i just got them from my friend who downloaded them way to much respect for them ! also reinxeed , super epic definitely deserve my money honestly i have over 25 power metal bands on my zune and shit ill drop a few 100 on ordering cds power metal deserves the money !

Instead of a Metal rebellion i propose a new plan.
1. Don't bash other metal artists, we need to unite. We cant fight against pop music if we arent even together.
2. Watch more and other metal videos to get it to the top of the youtube vid list
3. Instead of bashing pop, promote metal with logical reasons, not just "METAL RULES!"

All the credit and popularity of the Scandinavian area is thanks to the work of many Finish bands.Now, I guess you got no arguments regarding this statement since it's impossible denying Finish efforts to make the area metal-prosperous.

@Startrance666 you meant finish metal because your country hasn't put out any good band recently, and lets not start with Norway 'cause they're way too far behind. I can't only say one or two GOOD bands at most from Sweden and Norway alongside. Get your stuff right man. Don't feel proud of something your country has little participation in and take the credit of other country just for the name of the area(Scandinavia). Gosh!!!!

What are you talking about :P ? Sweden got lots of great metal & hardrock bands, Hammerfall, Dream evil, Nocturnal rites, InFlames, H.E.A.T, Lost horizon, Sonic Syndicate, Last tribe. Couldent careless if they are old or not, Sweden got a decent amount of great metal and hardrock bands, sure Finland got lots of them also, but who fucking care who got the most.

@Startrance666 I fucking careless about the number of bands as long as most of them are decent and create new innovative stuff. Most of the bands you mentioned are old, changed the lead singer and became crappy(e.g. nocturnal rites), or got retired(dismembered). later man

@Startrance666 First off you must specific folk metal because i dont hear of many good non folk metal bands from scandinavia. also did you ever hear about eluveitie, blind guardian, arkona, waylander, forefather, menhir, in extremo, hagalaz rune dance, geasa, dark reality, etc... plus lot of scandinavian dont even speak norse language in their song but english instead ..

@Startrance666 whats the purpose of calling them scandinavian if they speak in english call them mainstream metal ok but not folk metal, they dont deserve to be in that category. and as far as know they dont sing extremly good at all your smoking really high. and germany, austria, netherlands, belgium, france, poland, malysia and switzerland have better english on average. without even mentioning india, philipines, nigeria that have largest population with english as second langguage
