  • @itskaaythao Hmm, I'm not super baking savvy haha but I do know that both are used as leavening agents (helps baked goods to rise) but baking soda is basically sodium bicarbonate whereas baking powder contains sodium bicarbonate but also other ingredients. Using which for a recipe depends on the recipe itself. Because baking soda contains a base, it's used to neutralize more acidic flavors whereas baking powder contains a base & acid so used for more neutral tasting recipes. Hope that helped! XO

  • @channers4 Vegan recipes contain no animal products at all, which includes dairy (milk, butter, cheese) nor eggs. That's why in this recipe I used soy milk and soy cream cheese. :) XO
