Jeeze. I was at jiffy lube the other day and someone brought one of those in. The kid down in the bay was just going to leave that part on also but the manager told him to take it off, because oil gets on it, then leaks on the owners driveway. the customer thinks they have a leak, so they they take it back and chew some ass. They wind up pulling it off anyway.

Holy shit did you really have to take the whole thing apart? Might as well make a larger fitting for the filter hole.

no he didn't, that small plate he taped at first is all you need to take off, the gap on the skid plate is where the plate goes. it CAN get messy, but its not bad in comparison at all. what i suggest to this guy is to cut a bottle in half, and glue it on to the oil ramp they have on there right now, you won't spill a drop. getting in through that door is easy, must have been spoiled by an american full size or something
