Oh, how wonderful!! Now, I'm a lil upset with the other Canadians who tried to tell me their Provinces didn't have anthems! LOL

I know, Illinois used to be a part of New France, along with Quebec. All the way down the middle of the US to the gulf and Louisiana. We were once a part of the same country!

There are still many French names around. Des Moines. Des Plaines. Fon du Lac. St Genevieve. New Orleans. etc, etc.

@SugarInHisBlood thank yhouj and yhou're welcome, I love lthe french language, my father being french and all his relatives being frenchm there is also a little Irish thrown in hahah, I know french goes a long way all around, Louisiana was under France's king Louis's rule, I forget which one, when it was named after him, English goes a long way all around the world too.
