  • i like using that Famous Dave's rib rub. ITS GOOOOOOOH!!!!!

and ive tried the ribs from Memphis Barbeque in Vegas. and man not only is it GOOOOOH!!!! its the best. i guess thats why they are award winning.

  • i didn't kno mccormick had a rub-def gong to try it!

  • oh yeah you got one in long beach. Got it, l hope they this menu there. But still my favorite is the huge rib eye by Chris and Bob Burk in Yuba City.

  • Man, I love ur vids !! Grtz from belgium ;-)

  • what is the reason why you did a coat of light brown sugar ?

  • hahahahaha, click on youtube, ahh the pit masters have made a new video. See its the same video but edited out some stuff. Before I knew it I watched the whole thing again. You fellas know how to do it up RIGHT!.

  • I support the Pit Boys obviously getting recognition and some monetary support. But... from a long time subscriber... I feel a bit sad :( I NEVER wanted them on the "Food Channel" This was always our little corner of the web..

    Seattle Mark

  • NO 1080p??? no prob guys great as ever!

  • Americans are grill masters in the world !!! Definitely !!

  • Man,,, can you smell that, yes I can!... I've done enough of your recipes over the miracle of time to know exactly what it smells like. Yes sir, now I'm hungry too, dangit!

I only use a fire pit with wood, not charcoal, but the result is about the same I'd guess. I like a heavy smoke flavor, and I'd love to see more videos of you guys cooking like I do. Campfire, hole in the ground, whatever, I'd very much like to see this type of cooking.

I love your videos, I hope you guys never change!

  • I have used the McCormick rub, and it does a fine job. Good way to change up my own....er I mean the BBQ Pit Boys home made rubs occasionally. I don't care if they are plugging a product, from time to time, got to pay the bills somehow. One thing I do know, these guys will never let you down. If the Pit Boys are gonna promote it, then I'll bet it will be mouth water'n good, and it's worth trying. I have never had a recipe site fail me yet, and a lot of grilling guests who will confirm that!

  • As someone already mentioned, the rub you make yourself is much better. However, I know some people won't take time to make their own. And anyway, as McCormick evidently helps pay the bills for the Barbecue Pit Boys now, I guess we had better get used to product placement in their videos.

  • I have used McCormick's Sweet & Smoky Rub and I loved it! I will eventually get around to trying the other flavors, but for now, until I get tired of it, I will keep using the Sweet & Smoky Rub on my ribs!

  • I used the McCormick Pork Rub and Chicken Run a couple of weeks ago. Ribs and Chicken came out great. I cooked the ribs St. Lois style from the BBQPitBoys videos.

  • I support the BBQ Pitboys , I'ma have to get me some of that Grill Mates rub.

  • @demoniclordwizard Yup, me too, but I want one or some WITHOUT "salt"! No salt required for me, but can ya find it? That's hard to do.... All this crap seems to come loaded with salt and/or sugar. I have little tolerance for either or. It has nothing to do with diet for me at least, but it's all about taste. If people want salt, let them add it to their taste. I use a little, but cooking with wood brings out salt in a bad way!

  • i do love your grilling so, its always good eating and all of my husabands soldiers like it too. thank you for the good tips, have a nice 4th of july and god bless you

  • have loved everything i have tried by yall not one dud in the whole bunch

  • this infomercial could've been 30 seconds to a minute at most.....

but if it makes it possible for more episodes in teh future, so be it.

  • Sorry but the best rub is the one you make yourself. I tried that McCormick pork rub once and didn't care for it one bit. If McCormick is paying the pit boys though, by all means make the video and take their money.

  • @monkeyman522 not always the best but i get your point. I say keep the boys going and let the big bbq companies flip 'em some money. wish my droid had an app for their recipes

  • if your doing memphis style, the one and only dry rub you should use is the rendezvous dry rub :)

  • @hsmnwnner are you Charlie Vergos?

  • @ElPasoTV no im just a big rendezvous fan, best ribs around

  • Does the sugar remain sweet when your eating it? I don't have much of a sweet tooth to be honest. Looks good though

  • Gotta get that paper.

  • Loved the video thank you

  • Great way to do a product placement. Don't think an advertisement on TV could have done that seasoning justice! Just perfect!

  • I don't care if they are getting paid to do this or not... Just invite me over to dinner fellas!

  • bbq pit boys, do you know ZZ TOP??

  • What the hell am I doing wrong? I smoked up two racks of pork loin ribs for 5 hours at 225-250 and they still weren't done. Still tough to pull apart with your teeth. I didn't wrap them in foil, though.

  • lol i saw this video before they got the endorsement, hey bbqboys more power to you! make that cash just dont stop making these great vids!

  • omg hilarious

  • I just used this same pork rub last week on some baby backs. Pretty tasty off the shelf stuff right there.

  • Sounds Like They Got Themselves A Brand That We All Like,But I Must Say, I Expected Alot More Origional Thought Into The Flavors But, Regardless Great Vid...

  • u the man!

  • I hate it when a youtuber starts taking money or promotional products on their show, then you never know if its their honest opinion or if its just bc it was sent for promotoional purposes or money. All in all I still love the BBQ Boys!

  • @TabithaPrejean2006 well, it is thanks to their sponsors that they can produce awesome videos like these without charging their viewer. In the end, someone's gotta get paid

  • That was SUPERB! Better than sex even :D.

  • grande!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • No mustard?!

  • Meh don't see why people are so mad since they said they would like to see this on food network where there would be tons of adds.

  • holy shit i came when they were cooked

  • Blooper: First you say "no BBQ sauce within 5 miles" Then rather than RUB you say "BBQ sauce along the sides, thats optional"

Words are not perfect, but I bet your ribs are!!!!!!

    Happy 4th pit boys......

  • @metrotxmex "serve the sauce along side the ribs, not on it is memphis ribs...nah, no blooper metro

  • Looks delicious!! Thx for this video.

  • That looks GEWD!!!

  • I made ribs like this yesterday for Canada Day.

  • great vids

  • u edited the last ep and made it shorter

  • Man that looks tasty (:

  • nice product placement how much are they paying now a day's??

  • @ninjuggalo420 i read somewhere that McCormick pays $1,000,000 per video, still a lot cheaper than a Super Bowl ad! They should be paying the BBQ Pit Boys more. They deserve it.

  • @FirefightersTV Indeed!

  • @FirefightersTV as good as the BBQ pit boys are I doubt they're getting a million dollars per video. that just seems a little high for a youtube channel. then again i could be wrong and need to get into the Youtube business.

  • where can I get a grate like that for my webber????

  • That's right, the 4th is coming up...

Cheers to all American viewers out there!

  • Are you getting paid for this promo? It's ok if you do, but it does compromise the integrity of the vid. That being said, I've tried this brand of rub on ribs a few weeks ago. It's not too bad. It was the first time I tried low and slow, thanks to you guys.

  • @aeronut19 compromise the integrity? wtf... they tell you straight out in the description about why they did this video. They were asked!

  • @ElPasoTV They might be getting paid to do it, what, do you expect the description to state out the entire story?

  • how much are these grilmates box?

  • have to try that rub sometime

  • looks lovely

    kind regards

  • 3rd

  • 2nd

  • i use this chili rub a lot, even on my steaks. it's guud!

  • this was in the last episode.

  • @741bmx the previous vid shows you in a lot more detail how to make these Dry Rub Ribs. Especially useful if you've never made "low and slow" pork spare ribs before! -BBQ Pit Boys

  • @741bmx yeah this episode it to promote Grill Mates seasonings. "it's all about the rub"
