I'd believe he'd get that drunk after nine drinks. I knew an american chick, we took her to a bar and one apple martini later she had to be pretty much carried back to our hotel room. Of course back there she drinks some more, ends up making out with a couple girls and doesn't remember much past the bar the next day. She'd never drank before, and some people can't handle alcohol.
