  • I agree with DadoReal6!!!

  • Oui l'album est superbe, je le confirme.

  • very beautiful. sad, but beautiful. i;m not hating but europeans will never understand a culture so simple yet so complex.

  • True story of a modern day Native American Warrior. His wife and his 4 children were killed in a fire. Check it out "Trudell" on you tube. This is the musical translation of his life. Beautiful indeed in melody and words. If you understand it. My respects/

And the spirit of fire says: “You shall be stronger then death”

    (continued below)

  • As long as you have a breath of life. If you join the sky from which you are dust. You will be reborn when the day breaks, When your hour sounds. It is as this as it will be. While you wait the Great Spirit will watch over you. In the hearts of men you shall live So much that they will love you If this ceases you will disappear.. .. like the mist or the fog; it will be like this. But you shall be so much, that one will think of you That you are good and right
  • stupenda!

  • anyone know what "nahanna" means ? ...

  • white on the outside, native american blood on the inside and no one can ever change that

  • @Mrwilwak umm I'm not a Native American, and I don't believe your bullshit my friend, you were there? if no then don't speak like that, on the other hand you will tell me, I wasn't there either, you are right but if they were butchers how come they lost their lands?

  • @autoseinaikoitakseto May the creator's song guide your path to destiny fulfilled.

  • @Mrwilwak So because you fight with your sisters and brothers sometimes, it's okay for someone to come and slaughter your family and take over your house?

  • @Mrwilwak they killed when they needed to protect themselves as you will do if a war is provoked to your country, so what? you will not shoot others to save yourself and your land? oh come on!

  • they were here before of us! and we took evething that belong to them!!! what a shame!

  • There is no doubt about it, I love sacred spirit!!!!

  • Can everyone just enjoy the fuckin music without having to talk about those evil Americans? Every power in the world would do the same thing they did. Just because you live in a small and pathetic country like I do doesn't mean you should be haters. Life's a bitch and conquest is always cruel

  • Democratic country,who did destroyed one nation,native nation,with spirit-soul...sad,very sad :(

  • GOING TO SEE THEM IN CINNCINNATI

  • onaardse stem... werkelijk onwerkelijk prachtig

  • always been proud to be a "blue child"

  • Sorry, I don't understand why people in the US or Canada say they are 1/4 or 1/8 Native American, but the only way for me to know I'm a real Native American is either knowing the culture where I come from and having a good connection with it as the first thing, or at least having native features that could connect me with this ethnic group. Of course first thing rules the second. That's the way I know it.

  • @Aeore506 thank you, finally somebody said it!

  • @Aeore506 theres white people in newfoundland that are 100% white that got 100% native status......its bullshit they shouldnt have it after what there people did to my people

  • @noelIsadore19 Oh, really?? That's ridiculous!! Of course we as real natives can be unconfortable with such a mockery! As you have said, after all the genocide done, that's nothing else but the confirmation or this event...

  • @Aeore506 for real

  • @Aeore506 Just because someone is 1/4 or an 1/8 of something doesn't mean they can't be proud and if they don't 100% understand their roots - no matter how small or big - doesn't mean they can't learn. I am 1/2 Palestinian but you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at me, probably because I am half Norwegian but I am more Palestinian now than most Palestinians will ever be. So, 1/4 Native American could value their roots more than a full blooded Native. And sadly, sometimes this is true.

  • @KatrinaDi Maybe you're right. But heritage is not only about saying that you're a half or a 1/225 of something. To understand this statement you must have at least, additional to the blood percentage, the knowledge of what your culture is about. Many people say they are Native American, but they can't tell anything of their ethnic group 'cause they just know nothing!. It's nice that they appreciate it, but it's just not enough. If you are going to represent it, then do it well.

  • @Aeore506 That is what I was saying.

  • @Aeore506 Yeah it's annoying. They probably have no clue where their grandparents were born but they claim to be Native or Irish

  • @WaterFor3st Or they know because they researched it...like I did....

  • @Aeore506 soo.... by your logic.. just because someone knows a lot about the egyptian culture and have good connections with it.. they're automatically egyptian? awesome. ...because that makes sense!

  • Even our darkest days will see light...............eventually

  • Excellent.

  • i am of sioux descendant and would just like to take the time to say that i think i speak for most of my brothers and sisters on this one, the past is the past and their is nothing we may do to change it, it is important that the lifes lost in that terrible time our honored the right way and that our pratices are now seen as sacred for which they are, but we must not dwell on that which cannot be changed, all is forgiven.

  • @TaranAndAmandaTV I feel the same. What good does it do to dwell on what happened and allow anger to fester. We only poison and harm ourselves in doing so.

  • @meow55418 wise words :)

  • @TaranAndAmandaTV well sproken brother

  • @TaranAndAmandaTV

Wow-wonderfully worded and written, its a pity that more people from different walks of life don't think/believe the same. I do-its done and can't be undone, we must care for the living, the dead can take care of themselves-they will always be in our hearts and minds, with no wish to be forgotten but we do have to forgive-hatred breeds hatred so it stands to reason that love breeds love. You can never have too much of that! Peace.

  • @TaranAndAmandaTV but white people has not changed a 100 % because there are laws they don't show their real face but believe nowadays you still can feel that thing in their eyes, is like a evil thing not awaken or sleeping...I agree all humanity has dark side but this race has thought too high bout themselves too much that Hitler started to establish a physical rules for human perfection.

    That's my point of view.

  • @TaishoKenpachi

    So all white people evil?

    Fuck you piece of shit.

  • @mecher3k fuck you and your motherfucking mama!!! cocksucker =)...that's what I was talking about, you showed your real face.

  • @TaranAndAmandaTV Well spoken. This beautifull culture with so much wisdom is TODAY important and respected for many people all over the world.

  • In they're losing they found proudness, in our winning we found shame.

  • This whole album is fantastic. Played some of it at a good friends funeral. Hope the yanks will never forget what they did to their native people. They could have learned so much, & still could if they took the trouble to listen.

  • AWESOME *_*

  • GREAT.....BELLISSIMO..greetings from italy

  • che sensazioni strane ascoltando questi canti sembra quasi che io provenga da un infinito passato.....

  • @mustangehorse05 offcourse i am saying that in good way!!!Because they deserve respect!!!Or you got some point?

  • WOW This is good ! LOVE YOU !!!

  • WHat does the yalahé means ? Haha. I admire that

  • héy_ÁnYónÈ_wanñÃ_chåt_wïth_mÊ_i_fêêl_sO_lÒñelý_tÖdaý♫

  • Lol im half native but walking down the street people cant see it in me :'( at least the other half is celtic lol... celtic people are hairy heheh its everywhere :'( i hate puberteh

  • When each and every one of us, can look at each other and see only love, and not race, color, culture, etc, then and only then will we be free...

  • @grayshki This is the truth.

  • word to my natives! I'm one of 22 remaining people of the Oglala Sioux Tribe of Montana....

  • @p3rpl God bless you but hey....you are not one of 22 remaining....we are ALL one...ONE ...we are all made in image of God...so you are my brother just like you are brother with these 22 ppl that ,,remained,, ...we are all brothers man...

  • @giska1000 I didn't really look at it that way.... thanks man. (btw, I would be your sister I think)

  • @p3rpl oh so you are girl??:P well ok,then...yes ur my sister ..and one more time i ll have to say we ...at least we europeans love you native americans just like our brothers and sisters...God bless you....

  • magic...

  • lol i think some of you need to chill and stop blaming white people nowdays these whites have done nothing to you if fact this song you are listening to is created by a white dude and all the money he got from his albums he has given to the native Americans i think you should know that before saying ignorant shit peace

  • ETERNALLY SACRED...

  • Ashkerbash, I am not a full blood Native, but Full blood at heart, to me it has alot more to do with your connection to all life, Proud to be Mi'kmaq!

  • eventhough I don't like "europeistist"/moderniced traditional music, this song and video is still my favourite, as it expresses much more than you can say with words

  • So... do you HAVE to be Native American to love and respect nature...? Is me being white really keeping me from being a good person too? ...Oh well, I guess I can still enjoy the music.

  • @ashkerbash

nah, man. There's no shame in enjoying something about anothers heritage. Nothing but your own actions can keep you from being a good person. Well... that or a string of really unfourtunate events which lead to misunderstandings which cause you to accedently do horrible things to many people. Technically that wouldn't make you bad as much as undescribible liability to people.

  • A Navajo shaman sings in this song, although i'm white with only an eighth of Cherokee in me i seem to watch the world around me move at a rapid pace while i'm at peace the most in the deep forest with the noises of wildlife surrounding me.

The ways of living with nature like the Native Americans is the better route to me.

  • I'm hispanic by birth (Caribean), but I love this culture so much that I wish I could find a place around where I live where I could be received and shown more about it. It's the best way of life ever. My respect and admiration for all the native americans.

  • me dream me in cigar store and me can't move, ugh

  • i am native my culture is algonquiin (algonkin) and its just sad to see how the world is turing in so many ways cause my great grandfather never saw anything eletical in his life he was native and when they started making all this stuff he literly cried and he swore on his life he will life his life like he did before any of this was made and now seeing whats changing i too think that its the people that will make the world end cause us natives live without elctricty and we can live with out it.

  • @dukester671 Meh, maybe the mistakes of the present can be learned, but who knows. I guess all we can do is hope(or act if possible) since there is no use in assuming the worst even if it's likely.

  • @dukester671 I get what you're are saying and yes I agree, I come from West Virginia my grandmother was Cherokee, and I can tell if something terrible happened around the would and technology failed many in the first world countries would die. They know nothing about raising crops or surviving without modern conveniences. I feel many will misunderstand what you are trying to say but I understand and i agree with you.

  • Respect to native americans and native american culture!!!

  • @DadoReal R u saying that in a bad way or good way??

  • @DadoReal respect to the eath too

  • @santillew of course

  • I love the relax......their feelings for music are way better than anyone! Special today, at time of sorrow :-) Respect.

  • as a proud israeli i support the native americans wishing power and health to the native american people

  • @shabi144 me too!!! and i completly agree. :) long live natives and their beuiful amzing way of life :)

  • lol all the lady says in this song is 'dooji needa' meaning 'dont say that ' in Navajo

  • The high singing reminds me of Sami yojk. Sami are an endemic northern Scandinavian race. They are nomadic like many Native American tribes were. Like Native Americans they have been pushed and pressured by civilised society, yet their culture lives on. I hope cultures like this live on forever. I have a premonition that such cultures will outlast the dominant modern patriarchal systems of today.

  • Can somebody please explain what the title means to this song? I love it, I'm Christian and this seeps into my soul, it is beautiful, sublime, perfect in it's soothness...what grace flows from the words, Glory to the God or the Grandfather as he is known to the Indians.

  • This is incredible.

I'm seriously have to find a CD or a CD rip copy of this O-O

  • Cógeme la gamba.

    Grande los del hormiguero.

  • tocame la gamba!

  • The native americans are amazing, and they have beautiful voices, especially when they chant or sing. Plus their videos are unique, have their own style, no like most videos today...

  • First thing what I wanted to do when I come to America is to go to Arizona and see Native Americans. Everybody around me was watching me like I'm crazy. I told them that my idols are Indians since I was a little girl. But I was so sad when I saw Arizona and land they were pushed to live on :( They gave them worst of worst :(

  • @anainena There's irony in how they live now, I'm sure. Not saying it was right to give them that land, but look at how they live now. Most, not all, reservations have casinos or other such attractions that take the U.S. dollar from the on coming 'Americans' and put it into their own lands. Seems like a question of "who wins now, bitches?" :D

  • @anainena I was raised in AZ. I know how you might feel. I worked for the i Pascua Yaqui Tribe. I worked in their private schools, and casino's, and others near by. Desert Diamond, Casino of the Sun. I am proud I was raised up with these people. I had the honor as a child of crafting a Hopi Kachina doll with the help of a teacher named White Bear. Life was hard for them till the - 80's but now things are improving. Like I said "I worked for them" :)

Arizona is a mystical beautiful land.

  • Gracias Susana... un video muy tranquilo... impresionante foto... cultura gran!

  • incommon reality..... :-))

  • love! your spirit is freedom!

  • what is the meaning of this song? i tryed to google it but coudnt find anything about it! thanks

  • Datorn heter Hanna.... ? =)

  • COMEME LA GAMBA, COMEME LA GAMBA

  • most beautiful music i have ever heard!!!! makes my heart melt..wish i had cultural blood to be connected..

  • I'll say no more than this...All will be as it was and the Proud Peoples of the Americas will continue to to be when everything else falls...there are other as well and we must do our best and just be Ourselves....May Our Mother Father God Bless You all...

    yes I'm a Pagan.....

  • Osiyu we are still here we will never leave this land it was given to us by the Creator

  • Where on this list is Jim Peppers? (Creek , Kaw)

  • you know your Native when somebody ask you on your stance against immigration and you just laugh one thing I learned from my ancestors laughter is the best medicine

  • those 19 dislikes: they must be deaf & disagreeable, they must not KNOW the ugly truth of life, nor enjoy the peace the songs such as this one bring to us, no matter who we are or where we are from: we all suffer. life is too hard, i think. too hard.

  • With All The Talk Of illegal Immigrants Lately, No One Seems To Remember That The Native American Tribes And Nations Were Here Long Before Anyone Else...Kool Jam For Sure!!!

  • @sandleman1 This is the argument I get so tired of, it is not immigration that we are against it is ILLEGAL immigration. We want them to come into the country the right way so they are not a burden, but they pay taxes and do things they right way. The problem with the illegals is that the criminals get smuggled in with them and their is not way to track them because none of them have legal status or papers.

  • wow!!!!! amazing music.....my favorite is yeha noha

  • HALLO I'M LEONESSADELLESTELLE AND I SAY THAT THIS SONG ARE SO BEAUTIFUL BYE BYE

  • beautiful song. my favorite is yeha noha

  • @herrerorodriguez

I first head Yeha Noha many years ago and fell in love with that song. Some years later I found the name of it and then bought a cd with it on it. The cd itself was 30 dollars. Half the money went to the reservations to help with the childrens school needs. I thought it was amazing.

  • what does it mean-nahanna??

  • Who is the guy in the video???

  • my favourite track :)

  • Every time I watch this video, the physique of that male Indian amazes me. He's radiating a combination of so much power, balance, completely centered in the moment. Not sure if I can find the right words, but I'm sure many of you understand what I'm trying to say. :-)

  • Maluku and Papua belongs to Oceania. They are Pacific warriors. They arent Indo's at all...

  • I can only remember most countries have 1 nation fighting for independence.. israel 1 :palestinians . turkey 1 :kurdistans . spain 1 :basken . sri lanka 1 :tamiltigers . china 1 :tibet . INDONESIA 4: ACHEH, TIMOR, PAPUA, MALUKU

why would THESE 4 countries give up the battle.

They are with 4 nations, the biggest fight for freedom of the world atm...

  • The west was the biggest killingmachine. Now Indonesia is it. Killing all native people in Maluku and Papua. STOP THEM !! 4 different nations in 1 so called country that arent part of that country.

  • i am apachi and i love video my grandson teach me how to talk about song thank you for old song i sing

  • It has been the way of all conquering nations, tribes, empires. There has not been any place on earth, that when subdued, subjugated or conquered that was not either exterminated-culturally-or assimilated into it. Even among Native Americans where they warred with one another the same can be seen in their own histories. This is the way of the world. Even today, before our very eyes we are seeing Europe being conquered, not by guns and tanks, but by the womb of Muslim mothers.

  • @HermitintheRain If we would truly honor our the best qualities of our ancestors, whatever heritage that might be, we would do so, not by trying to return to the past-which was filled with its share of atrocities and shame, as our is today; but rather we would truly show our honor to them in moving forward, as they did, to make good of today, and making every effort to make tomorrow and even better day than today.

  • @HermitintheRain if at the cost of our own culture-our ancestoral past-we would make a better tomorrow, are we ready to sacrifice it? or will we hold onto our heritage so vehemently, even if it costs our children in the future? what is really important here? where we came from? or where we are going?

  • @Tohil9 not only the Americas, Oceania, Asia and Africa. they even have occupate, killed and destroyed their own natives from Europa...

  • I am neither an indian or an american....but i had tears after listening to this song. Its just plain amazing. May your culture live forever!

  • My family was left to die on the trail - we did not die! Our spirit is strong!

  • @marz1118 that right man dont ever give up have an unbreakable spirit.

  • STAY STRONG ALL NATIVES IN AMERICAN CONTINENT!!! <3

greetings from Ireland and Finland :) (:

  • After more than 500 years of ocupation by the Europeans. We are still here!!!!!! Long live all the Native Peoples of the Americas. /.\

  • @Tohil9 After WAY MORE than 500 years of ocupation by the Europeans. We are still here!!!!!! Long live ALL Native Peoples of the WORLD

  • @46746 long live

  • @Tohil9 and I hope you will always be!!! You are beautiful people. Lots of love

  • @Tohil9 "we" as in? modern indians? or what

  • @Tohil9 ahah :)

  • @Tohil9 I am Irish/Mexican and I fricken love the Native Americans! I hate that America does not respect you for all you have done and appreciate ya. Long live the natives! God Bless brother

  • @sirchristian12 excuse me but don't speak for all Americans you jerk. I am 1/4 Cherokee and I would appreciate if you would stop insulting people. I am proud of my heritage on all sides of my family. Some of my European ancestors did great things, they also did evil things, that same goes for the tribes here in America that is what most don't understand there were many tribal wars. Ask the Texcala what they thought of the Aztecs! There is a reason they Texcala helped the Spanish!

  • @sframe1978 I honestly don't remember what I said. Relax, I apologize. I was frustrated, I have full Native American friends and we just talk about stuff. I am Navaho, Aztec, Mayan. Sorry..

  • <
