@MatHahogg i have the surefire 6p led 85 lumens i think ... to mod that maglight your talking about sounds like a hell of allot of work but ..... hay each to there own i guess
I would still rather carry my LED Defender in any kind of tactical situation involving combat... but this flashlight is a good tool for someone who needs a small flashlight that provides good light with great durability.
If you want to go by ratings, a 4D Mag is rated at 122 lumens. Realistically it's about 70+. Put a MOP (medium orange peel) reflector on the Mag and it will be on par beam wise with the 6P. Granted that is only on fresh cells which is the drawback with the lowly Maglites, alkalines just cant deliver the power like cr123a cells. With that said, i'll take the 6P anyday as I already have the G2 which is the same lamp assembly as the 6P.
ya im just getting into flashlights that are outside of the Maglight world. Incan is ok, i just really like LED now because its white light and alot clearer.
I like Led Lenser P7 200 Lumen, and Led Lenser Police Tech Torch 108 lumen. Both made in Germany. (I personally like German or Japanese product as they have never failed on their quality production). But what is going on with flashlight world these days ? It seems everyone is trying to compete with one another. LOL!
@dritb4
some people custom mod there maglites and it shoouts out 18 000 lumens.
It's true :) they are insane.

@MatHahogg 18.000 lumens wow does that come with its own power station to power it lol how long would a pair of d cell batteries last ??

@ohhellyeah1
It's in a 6D Maglite, very custom made.
It does not run on D batteries, but special Lithium-ions. Runtime is about 1-3 minutes i get. It cost a lot to make it and you need serious skills.

i dunno i have a Fenix P3D which runs off two CR123A batteries pushing out max 215 Lumens, owns my mag light and waaay smaller too.

Fenix does make some nice lights...I own a TK20, nice light. LED is not my flavor though, I much prefer incan.
