Arjun earned his prize rightly and just. He worked bloody hard for it and was consistent throughout the whole process. I'm actually speechless at how competent, eloquent, efficient and likeable he came across. It's obvious that there's a sharp mind with impressive business smarts.
Tim, on the other hand, played a game. I believe he honestly didn't expect that this could play into the equation in the final board room session. I knew that his past wrongdoings would bite him in the ass later on.
I agree with comments made in the sense that both Arjun and Tim are both worthy winners and I am still very pleased for Arjun's win though I am slightly disappointed because I feel the points made by Alan Sugar upon decision of the winner are wrong! He seemed confident that the runner up would reach success anyway- but isn't Arjun the model for such a perception? He already has a business and academic achievements, Tim shears sheep and it appears that he'd need the prize more so than Arjun! :(
@thewhiteharts95 do u honestly think Tim got through to this show by sheering sheep only? He has a huge business background he would definitely be successful in life. Arjun definitely deserved this win
I think it's fair to say both Tim and Arjun would have been worthy winners, and it's also fair to say that throughout the show all ten candidates gave very good accounts of themselves. Zoe was the only one who seemed to have difficulty working with other people, but even she was nowhere near as bad as many of the adult series' contestants.
To me a winner takes all prize doesn't seem right. I think Tim, Kirsty and Zoe should have received a small percentage of the reward for their efforts too.
Poor kids..what they really need is a month w a buddhist teacher or someone else who could open their eyes to the illusion of it all, the endlessness of their quest. But then ofcourse they would never succeed in business. As the saying goes, before you become clever enough to make a lot of money, you must first be dumb enough to want it. Striving to be a socalled winner all your life truely is the looser's way of living.
@LackadaisicalE "Striving to be a socalled winner all your life truely is the looser's way of living."
LOL what a stupid post...so in order to be a winner, you should strive to be a loser all your life? Sounds like you hate all material possessions... if so, what are you doin on a computer??? Why are you not living in a monastary somehere, depriving youself of possessions, sex, or delicious food? You are more full of shit than anybody you criticize.
@SageTheAtheist Not really. You just have a very b/w vision of things. Lack of scope I guess. I pity you, but I pity your surroundings more, especially any children you might have. I find it amusing that someone with such a contrieved nickname as you would..nah forget it, ya can't explain a computer to a coffee machine. You need a few years before youre anywhere near using your brain, but I do encourage you to try to improve yourself.
British race is the only race? How prejudiced ! At least if you're going to be such a racist don't put on the false pretence that your sentiment is 'NOT racist'. So Arjun didn't deserve to win because he is ethnically inferior?
I wanted arjun to win although didnt mind if tim did they both did really well, but i tthink arjun demonstrated his consistency throughout aswell as versitility, he is good at most of what was required of him. Tim was almost there, not quite.
Argent gave an impressive summing up of himself when Lord Sugar asked him "Where do you think you showed me throughout the course of this process that your not just an academic..." Tim when asked for his summing up did not sound anywhere near very impressive, that is why he lost!!
tim was the favorite of sir alan ,that old man said lazy tim not any more , stupid old man with your horrible face to have to wachted you in all the programs, you should be quit or changed your manner you should be fired snake. and arun you are a snake your actitud show it . tim was a nice and innocent guy
Tim was robbed, no wonder we didn't see his final comments. arjun is a unimaginative shopkeeper. Count how many times he asks"what do you think" to the others. And his fake grin is sicking.
I think Lord Sugar choose Arjun for his abilities over the 5 tasks not just this one. Tim, is an affable lad, pleasant, very smart and intelligent, but surely his heart is in the countryside, and why not! I would prefer it for sure.
I can see a bit of Arjun in me and Im 34 now, the boy should be headhunted and fast tracked into a management development programme, Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, Mittal Steel, this boys worth it!!!
@daveygravey123456 Your doctors are indians Your Professors are indians the restaurent you go is owned by indians the off license you went is owned by indians the pizza you ordered was from indians, your manager is proberly indians, immigrant officers are indians the uk richest man is indian. What's wrong with them if they got uk passport, they are educated, wealthy and smart.
@daveygravey123456 you are a loser, i have to agree with emopics, indians literally own everything you see and dont look down on them cos when u go to the high places, you just see too many indians, it will fook you up for ur attitude..lol
Well Done Arjun!!! Well deserved, a really lovely pleasing personality that seemed to shine through. I did like Tim but Arjun just seemed to pick him to the post.
Boys, you should be very proud of yourselves and so must your parents.
Damn I was hoping for Tim it seemed like Arjun would have succeeded without Sugars help while Tim just seems like wasted potential and will likely go back to reering sheep. You have to say that bottle water idea was pretty genius.
God bless him (Arjun)! He has that talent, spark of genius and pleasing personality. Tim also stand out with his ability in brilliant ideas and connecting people though he showed some favouritism with Hana against Ritz. All the four finalist deserve respect. What they have shown us doing in their age is extraordinary.

Also, I like most of the comments here. I can say British race is only race which is NOT racist. God bless Britain.
