Ya just gotta love how, in SA1 Tails had cute, "inspirational" music, and was running around wipping everyone with his tails.

Then, SA2. In comes Tails in a mechanized transforming plane, that turns into a freakin battle walker, with vulcan cannons, machine guns, and auto target turrets.

DAMN. He grew up fast huh!? : D

Alright arsehole, if you're gonna be a prick about it I HAVE played Sonic 06 I know it's bad. As for Heroes it wasn't the team work thing that I found bad it was just the gameplay as a whole.

Oh, and FYI, I have Sonic Colours and Sonic 4 Episode 1 and actually found them better. So you can get that through your fucking head before you start slagging me off, fucker!

A sonic adventure game allows you to play as at least 6 different characters with their own gameplay style. A sonic adventure game also has a chao garden for replay value. It also has missions in every level. Of course preferably the story would be good and the would be a hub world and whatnot, but these things are what separates SA and SA2 from the rest. This is why everyone wants SA3

Fishing, treasure hunting, and mech levels are among the most hated gameplay styles of any Sonic game. They weren't that liked back then and the hate has only increased with years. I don't ever expect Sega to bring those back when they are trying to improve Sonic's image. And with Sonic Adventure 1, weren't Tail's levels just shortened Sonic levels?

Also don't expect them to bring back slower gameplay like Amy's. Though they could just speed her up like in Advance.

Amy and Big - yes. Those were a hit and miss. But I know that I personally freaking love the shooting and treasure hunting levels- especially the treasure hunting levels. If they took those out and came up with better gameplay styles for knuckles and tails, then I'd be fine with that- but there's got to be a reason why Sonic Adventure 2 is one of the highest selling games on the gamecube- why would people buy it if 2/3s of the gameplay is hated?

I can't say I agree to this. It's just that Sonic Adventure 2 was probably the best Sonic game out there, along with Battle and Sonic Adventure 1/DX. After or even probably with Sonic Hereos the quality decreased very much.

The Tails levels in Sonic Adventure 1 mainly just consisted of racing Sonic to the goal. The only exception was beating Eggman to the goal in Speed Highway.

@TheBengalsrule85 Yes really. Sega originally planned for it to be called Sonic adventure 3 but wanted a separate title. Even in Japan it's called "Sonic world adventure". The Japanese Sega website will tell you the same.

Why did you say "Gtfo" initially? All I was doing was saying that SU seemed like a "True" successor to SA1. I didn't even say it was better than SA2 (Though it's debatable) just that atmosphere wise and gameplay wise it seemed like it was picking up from where SA1 left off. It kinda felt more like an adventure than SA2, to me.

So I'd be interested to know why you weren't happy with what I said.

There was always too much blow uping stuff for me to hear this epic BGM clearly when I was playing it, but I caught little bits of it on parts like the elevator when there wasn't much shooting, but it is so much better as a whole.

Side Note: Call me crazy, but I actually liked the mech levels.

Ever since sonic heros, Knuckles and tails controls have become awfull and they are now slow ( sonic 360 ) A return to their roots is needed as well. SEGA knows it can make good sonic games. Its just that they keep changing the people who make them. For example at E3 SEGA said that a different team of people were doing the controls for the Wii. Which is worrying because I dont wont it to turn our gimmicky and ruin the game. WE ALL HAVE FAIT IN YOU SAGA, DO THE RIGHT THING.
