  • @sicilianbushi

e io ho che ti do pure conto

  • Comment removed

  • Top quality. Very good, and the power in the techniques is obvious.

  • what th ehell is yushin kai

  • OSU

  • i see two sparrers holding their ground, this is good.

  • OSU, check out my vid of a tornado kick gone wrong in my Calgary Kyokushin Tournament.

  • nice one..

check at ITALIAN KYOKUSHIN TEAM in my videos at 0:35

  • Kyokushin forever.

  • nice practice. one way to improve your reflexes.

It is not actually a full contact sparring.

  • it's sparring though

  • wich one is Yuishinkai?

  • the asian guy

  • this is slow

  • Maaaan, a TKD person will drop yall bammaz! WHAT?

    LOL!

  • lol TKD??? LOL ahahahaha TKD??? LOL whoooooo that was a good one...no were you really serious bout the TKD? if you are then ahahahahaha. check out TKD vs Kyokushin.

  • Damn did you bust a gut man? Man wuteva. The TKD people I train with will drop yall bammaz. We aint no joke.

Shit we tryna get to Japan so we can fight in those tournaments but cant find out when they are held?

  • I'd recommend looking at how many TKD fighters there are in K1 and UFC as to how many Kyokushin fighters there are, oh wait a minute, isn't Semmy Schilts a Seidokan (Kyokushin) fighter and he's the world champ. Oh isn't Jean St Pierre UFC a Kyokushin Fighter. I rest my case.

If Olympic TKD is the norm, I'll keep to my Full Contact Karate thank you very much. I'm ex TSD and TKD nicked their techniques from Tang Soo Do.

  • lol @ Dobbersky's awsome comment! OSU!

  • hey man, im serious: ive wanted to be a taekwondo stundent, but when i started karate i believed that kyokushin would pawn the taekwondos. As you can see, kyokushin is a strength type way, and taekwondo mainly focus on kicks. A kyokushin student would easily own a taekwondo one. Believe me. :D

  • you are wrong my boy. look, first if you are a real martial artist or know about anything about martial arts, you should know that there's no martial arts which is better than the other. All martial arts are powerful, it just deppends on experianse of training.

and Kyokushin VS Taekwondo(WTF). Those two are really different type of fighting. If u wanted to talk about Taekwondo the WTF one, which we can see often in olympic, we can see that they use a lot of kick than punching...

  • but in Kyokushin kumete, we can see that they also use punching with a lot of low kicks, but in Taekwondo (WTF), there's no a lot of punching and also you are not available to use low kicks.

but if you will see the training of I.T.F which is another style of Taekwondo, you will probably change ur mind.

  • LMAO xP

  • thanx all for the comments,

anyway that was just a light sparrin, more for enjoy couple of minutes else than other

check out on my fight in tournament

    watch?v=Kr6tsHY89jU

    osu

  • Exactly what it looked like to me - light sparring aka no knockouts or injuries - just hours of sparring.

I am checking out your fight now.

    OSU!

  • I think you have more powerfull strikes but your friend is better at defence

  • The kick to head at 0:13 was really surprising and good. The kick at 0:40 was also really good on the effective place. Nice evade at 1:35 I always end up evading those kicks like that too but hey it works. I dont agree with mitsirugi about the length. Normal matches take even longer. Good luck training it was nice to see. Btw who was Kyokushin and who was Yushinkai maybe add it to the description.

  • thanx.. i'm the gaijin, without gloves, kyokushin.

    my mate is yushinkai

  • tat was good, but i don't understands whats the point of dragging on the fight for so long, either one could've KO each other so easily. guy with the pad had his body exposed to much and the other guy had his hands to low to protect his head and would be way to easy to grab.

  • Light sparring is vital in improving overall ability. This video is a great example of how it should be practiced. A quick knockout teaches you very little, and can cause more serious injuries, which stops you from training.

The only spot on your chest after solid training that is vunerable is the solar plexus; protecting that is relatively straightforward.

This form of sparring doesn't allow grabbing.

  • Nice sparring!

  • you got some moves ^^

  • i like cheese

  • gambatte!

  • What was the point of throwing the spin kicks if his arm was already there?

Also, you don't look where you're going when you kick.

  • you are wright but its very hard to do it that way so not everyone can be so good

  • yeah i agree with

    jhummus.

    nice combos.

I'm actually goin to the world tournament in Berlin to fight for ireland in Kyokushinkai^^

  • kyokushin... in ireland?

tell me more 'cause i'm living in ireland and i'm looking for kyokushin dojos here

  • Google Kyokushin ireland and you will find our site

  • oook...what for?

  • smooth combos....gonna use em next time i spar...only diff is get head shots...nice tho...

  • Nice sparring with ushiro mawashi geri indeed, osu!

  • BandanaBoy123 ...fucks BJJ is crap! lets try BJJ vs Sambo - and Kosen Judo.... heheh

  • lol, not much of a spar.

  • good sparring guys!:) It looked good!

  • Good sparring with respect.

  • everyone's a critic

  • I would love to see oen of you up against a BBJ guy.

  • bbj is another kind of fight, other rules... cant paragonate...

  • I meant to say, in a no holds barred fight.

  • that's the pourpose of training in something... LEARNING(^_^)

  • They're going slow because its sparring, they're probably great fighters in a real fight.

  • Yes but not it depends who is sparring. When I sparr I mainly kick fast to try and find where there weakness is and then I exploit it.

  • this is sparing. are you a practitioner of any martial art ?

  • the glove guy are have better tecniques strong moves and kime.

  • i was wondering the same

  • home come only one guy's wearing guards?

  • its obvious the kyokushin fighter is way more conditioned lol jk ,good sparring match

  • good video. I know this is just sparing, but even then, its pretty good. Osu!

  • This was a really good spar between the two. I haven't seen this type before so it was interesting for me to see, thanks for the vid.

  • Wait......... This is Karate........... There hands arnt in the chambers at there sides?........ They have there hands up like boxers.

  • Different types of karate have different stances

  • Stances? I said hands.

  • Hand position is part of a stance.

  • have you ever seen anybody sparr with ther hands chambered like that?

  • Like in this video or with the hands at the sides?

  • Thats Kyokushin for ya, I agree with you its kinda strange but they get more power from that kinda stance

  • good training!

just when ppl do backkick, you should go around the same way the opponent turned so you can dodge the back-kick.

  • thats what im talkin about! damn. my kotekitai sucks now lol

  • Good strong technical karate. Good video.

  • Hi, good stuff. My only advice is to use your footwork a bit more. Step out of the way of the attacks and come back. That way you will not just trade punches and you can actually get an advantage. You are both pretty evenly skilled, so if you start working on mobility, I think it will be interesting. :)

  • yeah.. actually it was a really static sparring...

    thanx for the comment

  • y is one wearing gloves and leg pads and the other is bare handed? i thought that was illegal O_o

  • illegal??

anyway it was not a fight but just sparring, and each one used his usual way

  • yeah thats wut i mean, i thought like both opponents have to be equally equiped to spar, like if one forgot their equipment, then the other has to even things out by removing his own

  • actually i didnt forget..

i am just not used to glove for spar..

but he was so he used... both of us didnt really care of it, that was just an technical exchange after the training...

  • yah i dont use my gloves either but other ppl in my dojo do

  • oh wait. the left one is kyokushin and the right is whatever you call it.

  • i'm the right one, kyokushin

the left one, my friend, trains in yushinkai, a full contact karate style derivated from kyokushin

  • both are kyokushin karateka

  • People are so funny...

How many of you have ever participated in a real Kumite fight?

Because thats what this is! In a true Kumite, there are no punches to the head, which is why they dont take the face shots... but kicks to the face are legal.

This is going at a realitivly slow pace because real kumite is bare knuckle! Every hit is like in a bar fight!

Shigekazu92 , after a comment like that i have to assume, if you hold a blackbelt you must go to a mc-dojo!

  • nope...

    do u?

  • hehe nice one

  • You call yourselves black belts?

  • some says "the best defense is to attach"

if you care too much of defense there is no space for attach...

anyway it depends by situation and situation...

  • Hey, I don't know a lot about karate and would like to know why they seem unconcerned with defense. Do they not care if they get hit?

  • I agree about the 'great control' but there were so many opportunities for head strikes, I don't get it?

  • That was very high quality sparring. Great control and great unpredictability and variety of strikes.

  • what a boring video no action!

  • This guy is a pretty low level Kyokushin black belt

  • osu very nice, great control and clean techniques

  • arigatou gozaimashita

    osu

  • Very nice mate.

    Osu
